This new format is by far the best. Even if you can't keep up the daily vlog, always focus on what it's like to live in a chateau, unique projects, antique shopping, local fairs, events and markets, arts and crafts, and cooking/eating out. We'd also like to learn more about your region of france, the history, different villages... live vicariously through you.

Great idea about selling the watercolors. I see so many people asking you to do this and I think they will sell fast! Will be fun to watch you do some painting. I think I remember at the beginning of your vlogs you painted a view of the chapel / gardeners cottage. It was so pretty. My knees would give out if I had to do 85 steps to my room every day. Dang arthritis.

For me it would be my hip. Sad to say that in order to become a good/ great equestrian. One must learn how to fall off first, then of course get back on and do it all again.... Not usually a problem when you are 7 or 8, .....50 years later , well that's a different story. My apartment is on the fourth floor. 😱

I've been in a real depressed state as of late. These daily videos spark bits of passion in me that I haven't felt in years. While the tasks in the videos may appear mundane to you or others, to me it's a brief respite from trying times. Please don't be afraid to reach out for help if you need it, there are so many things that can help you manage your mental health. I know because I live with depression & anxiety and while it still happens I have learned better how to deal with it. XOX

Michael: "Just do a rough sketch." What we actually see: A piece of artwork I couldn't match in a million years. I have been waiting and waiting for some Michael Petherick artwork for my new granddaughter's nursery. Also, it must be said that although Michael was tricked into signing away the copy right on his designs, for the person who stole those designs to then claim that she designed them, that's horrible.

Hello Michael…first of all, you are a very talented young man. I absolutely adore your wallpaper you had stored away in your dresser drawer, just beautiful. I think the much loved bear sitting at the table with you is perfect. I have a passion for dishes and I had to give quite a few away because I just had to many and not enough space. Everyone is saying the same thing - your cards would sell so easily as you are so talented. The wallpaper design for you know who is my absolute favourite and anything on a similar heme would be such a hit for you, it's so beautiful. Start small with cards and your success will grow so quickly. So lovely to have you back to being you!

Love the bear, I used to have a Steiff Bear too, that if you turned it upside it growled. Nice to see you sketching, that’s a great idea to get back to and have a lovely tea break. Like your bedroom, lots of stairs to it, must sleep well when you arrive. I have two sets of solid silverware that I started to buy as a 8 year old and now senior. I use it every day and love it.

I agree with everyone else who have commented on your designs. You could produce limited editions of stationary, cards, wrapping paper, scented lining paper and possibly fabrics for sale. Maybe create a children’s book about your bear living in the cottage.

Karma dictates that someone who is creative, talented, artistic, hard working, and has that spark of genius inside themselves will go on to make many more incredible designs for many more applications. Someone who lacks those things but will hijack someone else's designs, exploiting their friendship and trust, knows that is the only way they will ever have any source material to put into production. Any success they achieve from it has to feel empty and fraudulent. Michael, you have many fortunes worth of designs living inside you and this has been a lesson well learned. Thank you for making sure we knew the truth.

I would keep ahold of every piece of paper demonstrating each stage of the creative process, any formal documents relating to your work with them, etc because people like that don't like their names to be tarnished with some choosing to take any legal action possible. Definitely keep it all nice and safe, Michael. I hope that one day your creative talent really gets a moment to shine and even better, pays all the bills. Big hugs from Australia. x

Michael, design a wallpaper for the a bedroom in the chateau, paper the room in it and use it as a showcase for purchasers. It would be wonderful to see the wallpaper in an actual room and helps drive sales. Also be a great way of leaving your mark on the chateau. Love to see you back to your self.

Michael I also use Arches rag paper along with Reeves - another rag paper. Suggest you get some portfolios to store your drawings and water colors to protect past work. Have ordered art materials, art pencils from Art Supply Stores in France!!! Get those creative juices rolling!!! Everyone will be excited to see what's coming!!! Forge Ahead!!! Toodles!!!

Your counting the steps on the way up--it gave a sense of being there like few things could. You've become a great host with a sense of the viewer's experience. I knew it was a tall building, but wow.
