Just an old ceramic plate that was originally a coffee cup saucer I think. Really what you are using is the same as I use except without the dimples. Been using it for 20 or more years and works just fine. I do have plastic cups for water, one for regular paint and one for metallic paints, I hate getting flecks in my normal colors when I paint.

NIce! I use an old white ceramic dish. It's very handy and when I'm done painting I just wash it in the sink like a normal dish and it's back to white in no time. It's not that good for mixing very diluted paints due to its flat surface, but it works fine all the same. If I need to I just use something more shallow and that's it. Cheers!

Really good video Toby, very informative indeed. You are right, playing it normal speed makes a real difference to being able to watch the brush strokes.

Nice video. I normally paint Warhammer 40k but I've got some British infantry to paint as a gift for my dad. Your video has been good to see the different shades of brown/khaki that I'll need to use. As a suggestion, I try to blutack the base of the model I'm painting to an old paint tub, it makes it easier to hold. As to what pallet I use. I have just recently learned about the wet pallet and it has changed my painting so much. (For the better) it makes the paint I use (GW) last longer and helps to mix the paints during high lighting.

Very good, but the face is a bit overworked; some intermediate stages were softer and less orc-like. A bit the same on the battle dress, where the soft folds are now overdefined in places . As is often the case, less is more.

Really enjoying the video, you're using colours I hadn't thought of for the particular purpose which is great new information for me as I have absolutely no imagination when it comes to this sort of thing 😕 One point to note is Agrax Earthshade is GW not Velejo.
