i just saw it for the second time this weekend with joseph harrington and he was soo much better than the first billy i saw! he is truly talented!!!

I mean your comment was six years ago so I’m not sure the prices when you commented. But even now for a top end musical it’s £60 pounds. A mature production we got two tickets for £20 (£10 each)

I LOVE the implicit abuse in the American English expressions. "The boys know they must deliver." "You can't mess up". Yeah. Mommy loves you as long as you perform well and deliver on time. America, welcome to the Third World.

I absolutely hate this whole "Billie camp", but I have to disappoint you - thit is not the "implicit abuse of the American English". Those are the ballet rules. You're hurt, you're sore, you twisted your ankle, you broke your leg? TOUGH LUCK! You must continue to smile and continue to dance. There are very few professions more demanding than ballet. NO sport, NO trade can compare. If you want to know what it feels like to be a ballet dancer, imagine a lineman working naked on a live 150-kVa line while juggling 20-kg hand grenades with pins pulled out. And he has to smile and look happy. That's about half of what it takes to be a ballet dancer.

You are so right. I myself am a fan only and a supporter of John Neumeier´s Ballet School here in Hamburg. But the little Billys from London-Westend here in Hamburg (for 4 weeks until today) were on the stage again and again looking absolute happy when the audience (after "Electricity" for example) was applauding frenetically (!)...:)

i loved watching jojo in my class but then i was really sad when he moved to new york with his mom.but then i got excited when i heard he had a bigger sister that would teach me the next year.so what i am saying is the harrington family is really talented beacause his sister got into julliard i think and even their dad dances at the end of the end of the just off broadway recitle . if u want to have great form like him u should go to just off broadway of dawn

So, five months later and Playbill announces that Joseph WILL be the next (10th) Billy on Boradway. I guess nothing is official until it's announced on PLAYBILL. Congrats to Joseph, whose first performance in the role has yet to be announced.

I don't think they're too strict on the height rule any more (not only for but for the ballet girls as well) because when i saw the cast there were some tall people. like 5'4" 5'5" ish...

I think it’s really mean that all these productions have a height restriction. It’s not really a big problem for me because I’m only 4 foot 1 at 13 years old but it’s unfair for those really talented tall people who are great at singing acting and dancing and are actually better than the people who get chosen

that sucks, if you have talent with dancing and you they choose you, than one morning your wake up and realise that your voice cracks :)
