Just a cheeky behind-the-scenes peek into a photoshoot I recently did, on a rainy January day. Embracing your artistic identity and creative process is a long and difficult journey, filled with all sorts of self-doubt.
I hope this video sends you ~good vibes~ and the confidence to confidently claim whatever title you feel is appropriate!

I don't know much about photography and filming myself, but I noticed that colours and light (and photos) are always best shortly after it has rained. It is as though the moisture in the air both refracts and intensifies the light, but at the same time softens the whole effect, making everything a little bit hazy but luminous ("glowing") at the same time. My best photo of my sister and her husband was taken inside an orchid house. They got married a day after there'd been good rains, and the colours are beautiful (the colours of everything -- sky, trees and grass, clothes, skin), while everything is somehow both hazy and crisp all at the same time. It boggles my mind, but it works. My art teacher at school pointed out once that colours are extra intense ("glowing") shortly before sunset. As I said, I don't know the science behind all of this, but it's helped me. Another thing is that I noticed that sometimes colours seem to be better if the sun comes from behind the thing I want (or wanted) to photograph (I'm no longer so focused on taking photographs, it was a passing phase due partly to the expense and partly to other interests that distracted me) -- but this can be tricky -- I was successful once with a photograph of my sister and her husband under a small tree on a sunny day.
