It's so odd how they think insulting beginners for being beginners would somehow help them improve. They might just quit drawing their art, and how would be motivated to improve then?? Arttok is seriously just a circlejerk of hate and bullying nowadays.
its not like they want the beginner to improve anyway. its everything else. lack of empathy, forgetting there‘s a person behind the screen, a huge ego or a fragile one, hating to feel better about themselves. they just don’t care. it’s not just the art community, either. it’s everywhere, and it’s getting worse.
whats crazy is that when they see art tehy like they probably go ohh tahts so good!!! woww amazing!! and cant keep theirselves from insulting someone whenever they dont like someones art-- idk.. edit: i use ibispaint and i do NOT care that its free or anything, i js wanna draw
id like to speak on this in the way that artists should EXPECT rude comments they open as public, as an artist i get it its upsetting to get those comments but seriously they needa get a grip, having public comments when you have the option to close them but get upset when you get peoples opinions is kinda dumb
I’m an ArtToker and some how I rarely see negative comments on my videos the only times I got hate was from like 3 people who followed me. I’m immune to TikTok hate, I guess 😳
