I remember when the dx7 came out..... it was the death knell for analog synths.. I cried. Lush wonderful soundscapes replaced by bell sounds.

Well, unless Yamaha hasn't renewed its patents on its form of FM synthesis, Dexed has a far better chance of being sued off the market than Arturia's DX7 V does. Personally, I have not really been all that impressed with any of the 6-Op VSTi's out there. I'd much rather have the actual hardware, but if I could only have the software versions, I'd go with Arturia''s. I've gotten some strange results out of Dexed.
