The first time I saw Arturo live was during this era with this band. It remains one of the most amazing live performances I have ever seen.

This is the most true display of musicianship I have ever witnessed. He took one of the most famous jazz standards out there and with that remarkable group, played it in 3 or 4 extremely unique styles of music. Then Arturo plays FOUR DIFFERENT INSTRUMENTS. Then he gets on the trumpet then makes over a 5 octave leap between the last two notes of the song. PURE VIRTUOSITY. This man is so inspiring I can't even put it into words.

To me, this seems like a dream job. He is playing and loving it. It probably doesn't even feel like a job. Arturo is having the time of his life and earning green for doing it.

OMG At first when Arturo was like "don't dance yet that's a little later" I didn't fully grasp the weight of what he was saying. It was only when it went back and watched it again (and again and again and again) that I realized that he knew he was about to blow those people's f*cking minds! :D I had no idea he even played the drums and sang! I'd heard rumors of him playing keyboard but that was just incredible. AMAZING performance :D Thank you so much for uploading! :)

Arturo with no doubt is one of the greatest has ever came on to board and gave a FANTASTIC flavor to the world of jazz and latin jazz , when he came to Catalina bar & grill i was there fir the whole 5 nights and enjoy his music to the max. but with all due LOVE and Respect he should not put such a show he is much ,much greater to sell himself so short with such a common and industrial show .but in my heart i still love and admire his music

This performance turns out to be more the "Merengue" which is a style of latin music from La Republica Dominicana. it just starts out with Arturo playing the head to Caravan.

My school jazz band played this or open house! Absolutely love this song and I had the trumpet solo! Love it ❤

That's the way I would play it . . . if I played trumpet. This tune needs to be played with energy -- like this. I think too many people play it like a lullaby (but we all have our preferences).
