Welcome back ya'll! I finally decided to try doing a VLOG. It's my first one so don't judge. I promise I'll get better. Courtney and I went to Aruba in October. We had such a good time. Not to mention we got ENGAGED! I didn't even know the proposal was happening! 😂 We will do a separate video about the proposal soon!
I'm realizing the reason I don't really do VLOGs is because I hardly every get enough footage. I'm not one to pull out my camera/phone and film a lot. I do wish I would have gotten more footage. But hopefully this will give you some ideas of how beautiful and relaxing Aruba is. We definitely didn't stay long enough and there were so many things we wanted to do that we didn't get a chance to do. But we will definitely be back!
I do give insight into what is required to enter Aruba due to COVID. If you don't care about the process and just looking to see what we did on the trip, feel free to skip through that part. Below are trip details:
Airline: We flew American Airlines. We loved the inflight entertainment they provided. So many great movies and TV shows to choose from.
Hotel: We stayed at the Renaissance Ocean Suites. We are a little bit of hotel snobs. So the hotel felt a little dated and dark for our liking BUT it was clean, spacious and comfortable. We loved the balcony and how close we were to some of the restaurants we went to. I would recommend you staying across the street at the Renaissance Marina. It is adults only has more of a South Beach Miami vibe. We had free access to both hotels.
Renaissance Island: Since we were guests at the Renaissance we had entry access to Renaissance Island for free. We reserved a private cabana on Iguana Beach on Renaissance Island. A little pricey but highly recommend! We loved it.
Restaurants: The first night we ate at West Deck. It was just ok. We then went to Brutto for drinks. This was such a cute place and had swings over the water. Loved it there. The second night we ate at Barefoot Restaurant. Our tables were in the sand on the beach. Super cute. It was dark when we had dinner, but I would love to go back and experience a sunset there. The third night we went to Daniel's Steak and Chop. So good. Cool drinks and nice atmosphere located on Palm Beach.
UTV and Natural Pool Tour: We booked this tour with Palm Beach tours at the hotel. It was fun. Courtney enjoyed it a little more than I did. It was VERY bumpy in the UTVs to the point I was feeling sick. And you get so dirty! I feel they should have gave more insight to the dust in the dessert. I had so much dust in my hair and it got in my eyes while we were riding. But overall good times.
The romper I wore on the first night was from Amazon. Here's the link to purchase from my storefront. www.amazon.com/shop/cunning_b...
I believe everything else was from Shein.
