ARWing PRO 40km long range OSD

Hi all! Sharing my 1st long range attempt with the new ARWing Pro. Tried it first with the 40km mission saved but the Amp draw was too high for my liking so I switched to Cruise Mode. Video turned worse at 39km, but you an figure out the distance at the top right corner of the screen. After RTH, loitered for a while and decided to send it out again to get the total travelled distance to 100Km. Total flight time is 84min (1hr 24min) with still 17V on the battery. Next is 50km after I sort things out with the video. Specs are below.

awesome flight like all yours. that wing is very good for long range due to its high cruising speed and low fuel consumption.

Dear MyRazerZone. Thanks for the nice videos! I decided to follow your lead and bought a Brother Hobby Avenger 2812 1115KV. for your Mini Talon. In my case, I use ESC Hobbywing FLYFUN 60A V5, Li-ion 6S 4P, but the engine heats up at about 65-75 degrees for 1-2 minutes even without a propeller at 50 percent throttle. I wanted to know from you, too, the engine temperature is high, or just my case, and I have a marriage.

Inspiring footage, but arent such long flights illegal? Ie you need to visivlbly see the aircraft and have a spotter?

I wonder what's the brand of 18650 you're using? Care to share? You mentioned 5s3p and it has total capacity of 9600, so per cell 9600/3 = 3200mah.

Yes you are correct. Cells are 3200mah each. GREENPOWER brand. Bought it from a shop that sells solar panels and other stuff.

Awesome flight. It looks like you’ve got the ESC telemetry configured. I am currently trying to follow the ardupilot documentation with no luck. Wondering if you had to do anything special to get them to work? Thanks 😊

Hi, just wire the telemetry pad to any available RX and configure it as esc telemetry on INAV configurator or MissionPlanner.

Super nice flight✈✈✈Sir baka pwede malaman san ka nakabili ng parts na gamit mo dito esp. yung crossfire rxtx, prop and motor. Til now sticker plang nakakabit ko sa ARwingPro😂

A fast low drag cruiser...I'm guessing you didn't fit the GoPro in there..?...and fitted battery instead?..Well done breaking 100kms...So how many 18650 cells in 5S config..?...Ten?.....Why do they assume we want a bloody GoPro onboard?....🤔🙄

Yup! No GoPro. Im really impressed by this wing. I think it might replace my S1100. I'm Going to attempt to max the range soon. 5S3P = 15pcs 18650 Li-Ion cells. Battery compartment is not so deep so Fitting in Li-Ion needs some test fitting before soldering.

Hi. how to configure failsafe with R9 slim + and ardupilot. that it is necessary to do in each thing. thanks

Just set failsafe in your radio to cut. Once THR signal goes down, ardupilot senses it as failsafe and it will initiate Circle then RTH. You can test it on the bench while connected to a computer (do not connect batt) turn off your radio and check status screen in the first tab of misaion planner.
