Richard Flinga is an early/founding member of ABT, he was sentenced to 45 years in 1981 for murdering a man that had sexually assaulted his daughter. In 2001 he got an unexpected release, and since he had a Swedish citizenship he was expelled from the US upon release. He has appeared in interviews and public speakings here in Sweden since his release, and have written a book about his time in the Texas prison system, im not sure if it is translated to English. He is 73 years old currently and lives in Sweden

Strange small world. I'm from California and got busted in Sweden in 1990 and was in Tidaholm and we had a riot and they gave me more time and sent me to Kumla prison. While there Richard Flinga started writing me letters from Texas prison. Asking me how Sweden prison was. He was trying to get a transfer.

Forgot to add this under "Squeaky": In 1973, Charles Manson was rejected by the Aryan Brotherhood when he asked to join but then refused to murder for skin color alone. “The AB want Manson to kill a black because black is black,” Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme wrote in a letter. “He will not do this and they are against him.”

@@gangsterscopsandpolitician1586 ...Just that he was Samoan not Hawaiian (probably got the handle like the Mad Korean who was part Filipino due to the times mentality on ethnicity)....did time with MM and was AB in the late sixties and early 70's...he Also did time Chuco Weindecker(part Hawaiian)who was in a Mexican gang in Oakland but was AB as well.

@@seanfernandez5735 OK, I believe he was at CTF in Jan. 1971 when Buzzard got shot in the nuts and the 3 Blacks killed by Guard OP Miller? Chuco was also there. Hawaiian John was IDd by staff as congregating with the AB at the south end of the Recreation Yard but walked away right before it went down. As such, doesn't mean he was a coward (Samoans are usually Big Boys and good fighters), he could have been point man looking out for Guards, etc?

I believe Clay was transferred out of the military section because he was causing trouble and they could no longer handle him

Thanks, that would make sense, although the military side is supposed to have more discipline. Probably just got tired of trying to make him get with the program and sent him to go play with the wolves.

Im also wondering why he was sent to MCFP Springfield instead of moved to another penitentiary and isolated like Silverstein -was Fountain deemed to be more mentally ill to warrant a transfer to Springfield?

@@liden77 he was isolated, but I’m not exactly sure if there was a reason behind Fountain being transferred there instead of a Pen.

@@liden77 Not sure, I only saw paperwork on some of his kills. "As a Key Turns" might say, I believe he did a 3-part series just on Fountain, it is well documented.

On the mugshot of Fabian, what is the B for at the end of his A number ?

The letter at the end is for additional convictions, "A" for second, "B" for third and so on, only the A-numbers up to 1966 had these i believe, later you got a complete new number if you returned on a new strike
