In this segment of Netanagri, Saurabh Dwivedi is in conversation with Shams Tahir Khan, senior executive editor at India Today group, and Sahil Joshi, senior executive editor at India Today group, regarding the arrest and then denial of bail to Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan, in the drugs-on-cruise case of Mumbai. Aryan Khan was arrested on October 3, in connection with the seizure of banned drugs on-board a cruise ship. The Narcotics Control Bureau has accused Aryan of procuring drugs, however, Aryan's counsel has maintained that he was in possession of any drugs during the raid.

Sir .... पिछले 7-8 सालो में ये ड्रग्स का जाल इतना फेल चुका हैं की हर गांव में खुले आम मिलता हैं पर कोई कार्यवाही नहीं होती, राजस्थान में तो बहुत बुरी हालत है पर ये भांड मीडिया सिर्फ बड़े लोगो की ही बताने में लगा है। मेरे गांव में टोंक जिले में खूब मिलता है और हजारों बच्चे इसकी चपेट में आ चुके है । कभी आइए और देखिए यहां भी।

यह तोह एकदम आसान है.. कौन जज अपने ऊपर बवाल लेगा आर्यन को bail दे कर.. एक जज ने कह दिया कि मेरे पास पॉवर ही नही bail देने की.. दूसरे ने कहा कि 20 को order सुनाऊंगा.. अगर जज ने bail दिया तोह लोग कहेंगे कि पैसा खाया होगा, कौन बवाल लेगा... इससे तोह अच्छा है कि bail मत दो, हाई कोर्ट अपने आप बाद में bail देगा..

साहिल जोशी, जितना आर्यन खानके समर्थन मे दलीले दे रहे है, उतना आर्यन खानका बचाव खुद्द शाहरुख खान भी बचाव नही करता. आजतक शाहरूख खानने कभी पत्रकार परिषद लेकर यह नही बताया की आर्यन खान ड्रग नही लेता था.

These people may be consumers. But to link them with international drug running is ridiculous. It smacks of conspiracy between NCB and the government to needlessly implicate high profile personalities to gain publicity. The role of NCB is well defined and it does not entail raiding people to recover minor quantities and make tall claims of busting major rackets. The role of NCB thus far has been non stellar to say the least. Looking at their infrastructure and informer network,one cannot expect anything else, except act as a government tool for leverage,as are other central agencies. All this is absolutely shameful and disgusting. Wankhede is being hailed as a hero by many. Honestly,that is a very misconstrued and tall claim.
