I really believe that a lot of "Nigerians" need to go back and study some history, so that they have a better understanding of what they are voting for (or participating in), whether its a referendum, restructuring or secession. Preceding the history of the formation of Nigeria in 1914, there is a 400+ year history, that showcases why Nigeria and indeed a lot of the countries in Africa are in the state that they are in. All these people that say Biafra is not viable never do two things: 1. Tell us why they think Biafra is not viable, what’s the basis for this statement 2. Justify why they think the Nigerian project will become viable (it certainly isn’t now), when we have historical evidence of the opposite Lastly, this narrative “the young ones where not there during the war” is nonsensical. After all there are many persons that fought in the war that are today in support of Biafra. The case should be made purely on the merits.
