YEARS ago, b4 I'd heard of A.I.L.D., a friend handed me a copy of An Ocean Between Us, said "I can't understand WTF they're saying.... Merry Xmas.". 1 of *THE* best metal albums I've ever heard. \m/
Old music videos were so much better. They basically had their own little movie scene edits to go with it. Music videos nowadays are just guys playing in a room barely moving.
@@hellraiser1621 dude i think i was listening to a different song the video changed i wrote that on the wrong song thinking the comment was another song. Fuck i hate youtube sometimes
One of the few songs, if not the only, that I can listen to throughout the day, just about every day, and not ever get tired of it (have been for years)
I still remember watching this back in high school when it first premiered and saying, "yes, I would like to have muscles like that" and now I do. Thank you AILD.
I remember 2013 the first time i watched this clip i also remember all that deception i felt by that sad event with Tim. It was the first clip of AILD i saw, i should have followed this band since that time, when were all together. This chorus sounds so nostalgic. Clint Norris was amazing but Josh did a great job at his place, Jordan is irreplaceable Jordan and Josh will be missed in the AILD. 💔
2:37 - 2:50 Yeah again Jordan!! That's my baby!! 👏🏻 Tim looks weird in this video but still is my babe too. Clint Norris, Nick Hipa and Phil Sgrosso love ya babies.....😍 Edited... Sorry Tim still looks weird(o) but still is my baby, sorry for sincerity.
Way to bros, y’all are fucking awesome. Y’all got some really fucking killer sounds. Totally the kind of music I listened to throughout college too while my lifting workouts. Great times then, and even better now. I really hope, with tremendous intensity that y’all come and perform here in Salinas, California USA.
12 years ago. Now 2021, I hate getting older man. Metal from early 2000's was so pure. If it wasn't like this, it was parody party songs, regardless it was all good times.
Only through struggle have I found rest With a piece of me taken away I begin to understand Hollow out this machine like chest With its gears that turn to make me feel And assembled thoughts that fade away Only through struggle have I found rest Only through struggle have I found rest Remove from me (from me) (This de...) This deception (...ception) (That I) That I called love (called love) (That I) That I called love (called love) Yeah With its gears that turn to make me feel And assembled thoughts that fade away Remove from me (remove from me) This deception (that I that I) That I called love (that I called love) That I called love Only through struggle have I found rest With a piece of me taken away I begin to understand I begin to understand I begin to understand Love
I feel bad for just discovering this band. I'm 28 and I used to see kids at school with AILD shirts but I never gave em a listen. Fast forward to now and I'm just blown away. Great band, holy shit
It’s like always caring what others think, then coming to realize that no one ever cared about you in the first place. You begin to understand that you’re the only one who cared about you this whole time
Precisamente este término fue lo que más me fascinó en la banda antes de que "metal core" fuera "metal blanco" no hay nada más fantástico en el mundo que saber que hay una banda increíble dentro del movimiento del metal blanco y que esta banda es AILD. 🤍
I know this sounds like alot but think about how many metal bands their are out there. This song is in my top 50 metals songs I find myself coming back to regardless of how many times I have herd this amazing metal master piece. Some metal core at its finest 👌
This chorus with this melodic clean vocal was amazing Clint should have sung a little more, Tim should scream more like Benjamin Burnley and Corey Taylor, but nowadays Tim sounds even better. Oh!! Please! It needs to be remastered! Credits: Tim Lambesis🎤🔥 Jordan Mancino🥁🔥 Phil Sgrosso🎸🔥 Clint Norris🎸🎤🔥 Nick Hipa🎸🔥
Clint didn't do the clean vocals in studio. It was Dave Arthur from the band Kings To You (disbanded). Clint didn't even record bass track for the album, Phil did the bass parts.
@@mayday_ix I know i already read it in somewhere here in the comments, i just mentioned nomes whose showed up in these clips. This dude with clean vocal in this clip is Clint not Dave?
I saw u guys play this in 2010 at higher ground. My boi Cody rivers got his nose reloaded, btw I picked up a pack of marbs by the foot of your tour bus and there were 3 pinners of the best weed I’ve ever smoked in there. Sorry if you lost it. But my buddy and I enjoyed the shit out of it! U guys rock!
