Another great video, Rob. That torch mount is a very clever design and I look forward to seeing the collision detection wired up and working. I did think my slats were getting bad, but yours win the prize, for sure! Maybe a job for the young bloke when he returns from his bank holiday.

Thanks for another great video Rob, I have learned a bit from you. Just to return the favour in case you havent tried it, I have purchased mig tip paste from lincweld, its live vaseline, smear some on the nozzle and shroud of the plasma, it makes them last longer, and the water splashes dont seem to stick to the nozzle. Works for me, thanks Dai

Thanks Ill certainly try it. Hypertherm consumables are pricey but havimg tried the knock offs, i can see why. We did a test about a year ago and the knock offs failed miserably. Vaseline here we come lol

Stepperonline or they are now called omc-stepperonline.com. It's a kind of take your pick. I went for the nema 17 p series 7.5nm and the driver combo. Depending on your bed and weight you may want to go bigger. Go big or go home...right? I also went for the 50:1 planetary but I think 20:1 or there about is also good. Let me know if you need more info. Luck to you it's a blast when it moves first time 😆

@@robbroomfield468 that’s good I just thought you said in one of your videos you went for 10/1 planetary gear boxes My bed will take a 1m x 2m sheet when it’s done and I’ve gone for the 100mm box section for the sbr like the first video you did. Table frames is done and will install the rails this week and the cross carriage Will be ordering the close loop steppers and rack and pinion end of the week Thanks for help
