I'm crying :( I missed the whole stream and this channel made my whole year 10x better, but it's hard to watch it when it starts at 10pm and ends at 8am, literally the times I sleep and get up
Just remember that the channel being deleted doesn't have to be sad. It's a wonderful opportunity to realize just how much it has impacted you and how many memories you'll be able to take with you. It's something that only a few select people will remember and it's a beautiful thing that should be cherished. Imagine 15 years from now, and you meet someone new who can also share these memories of the channel with you. Losing the channel genuinely has the same impact to me as losing someone special in my life. I've tried explaining this feeling to those who haven't kept up with it this long, and they just brush it off saying, "Well, it's the internet, nothing ever gets completely deleted", and they don't understand the full intent of the channel. But I finally met someone in my area who is a fan because I was wearing my GoddusAnnus shirt (they were an employee at a Halloween store), and we chatted a bit about how it's gonna hurt hard once it's over. We had tears in our eyes reminiscing them, and I finally felt that I wasn't alone in this feeling. They've helped so many of us throughout this crazy year, and I'm going to do my darnest to keep the memories they made for however much time I have left. And I'm glad I'm not alone in feeling this way. It's gonna be hard at first, but if I ever find another person out and about who has any of the merch, I'll say to them, "Memento Mori", and hope they respond appropriately. I’m gonna miss Unus Annus so much, but I’m also really curious for how it’s gonna be when the channel ends. It would be really cool to meet someone else who like Unus Annus and talk about the funny things that Mark and Ethan have done. I’m really gonna miss this channel, but I also agree that it doesn’t have to be sad. I hate being sad, so I hope the the channels’ send off is happy and less mournful. @@ThatDudeWithBoobs Yes, I agree with everything that you are saying. In fact, it was very difficult for me to accept as well. I still have trouble with it sometimes, but I think about how far both Mark and Ethan have come as people and it's just insane. Especially if you think about the backflip that Ethan did for Mark. He never thought that anything would come from it, but look at them now. They made a whole-ass collab channel together. Even their growth from the beginning of the channel is inspirational in a way because, as they said in their "Brutally Honest" video, there was a lot of stuff they had to work through in the beginning to discover each other's boundaries and so forth. It's amazing just how much these two people have accomplished in just one year. Plus, each of their respective channels will be up and they will likely continue to do some collaborations. The "Markiplier Makes" videos will still be up as well (which is honestly the only thing keeping me sane). Sadly, I wasn't able to get merch, but I can still make fan art and draw on my shoes 😂 who knows? Maybe one day I can visit a print shop and make my own custom stuff out of an original design. My point is that, obviously, yes, the deletion of the channel is going to be a bittersweet moment, but everyone can deal with it differently. In fact, I have a friend who is actually excited to see their send-off. There are likely people out there who would've loved the channel but never knew it existed, so in a way, I suppose we're lucky that we had a chance to experience it from the beginning. And also the line "who lives, who dies, who tells your story." The viewers (and Mark and Ethan) live, the channel dies, and we all tell its story. At least I think that makes sense. As soon as I saw that grave I wanted to cry, and as Annus said, “crying is good” so at night I will sit in tears of joy as the flashes of light on my screen bounce off my face. Displaying moments of happiness and joy.

I have only recently started watching Unus Annus and I am both glad that I found it when I did, even if it was for a short time, and incredibly sad that I have only found it recently, I missed so much. And despite only recently knowing about it I can't help but tear up watching this. The song, the timer, everything, it's done so perfectly. Time is running out, so we best make the most of it.

they where there when we needed them most they made happy memories for themself not knowing that it would get so populair not knowing they might have saved lives and all that will be left of it are memories memories that will make you smile and cry at the same time not knowing what will happen not knowing that we are scared of what will happen But they do know one thing that they thought us all 1 importend thing and that thing is that we will never know when things are gonna end and that we should make the most of our lives. I teared up when I saw the Unus Annus headstone. I'm so glad to be part of a wonderful community. Seeing the clock turn 0 and seeing Unus and Annus "glitch" away hite hard. My brother came up with this idea: When the clock turns 0, on both Mark's and Ethan's channels, there will be a vote to reset the clock or not.
i’m just now seeing this, only hours from the last day. as much as i’m gonna miss it, i know it’s purpose and i think i’m ready to let it go. it’s been a long, fun ride, but it’s time to move on, and accept what the channel is meant to teach us. and yk what? that’s okay :) it’s taught me a lot and i’ll always be grateful for it and remember it, even when it’s gone. with that being said, this is absolutely beautiful. nice job! 💕💕💕
Tomorrow is the end, the time has struck. To whoever reads this: This adventure was something i personally think we all needed. Seeing this brought me and maybe others to tears thinking of what awaights us in a few hours. I’ve cried like 5 times today. I miss them. I didn’t think I would be this sad. This past week I thought I prepared myself. I thought I would be ready to let go. But I can’t stop crying. They just worked so well together and made some of the best content on RU-vid. Unus Annus is gone. This year has been hard and they helped me through. Today when the video would’ve come out it felt weird. School has been going really badly for me so coming home on Monday and not having Unnus Annus to cheer me up will be hard. They made me feel like I wasn’t just the loser at school with no friends. They’ve been a shining light in darkness. All day I’ve just been watching both of their channels and remembering. Remember what they did. Unus Annus will go down in RU-vid history and will forever be in my memory. Momento Mori

My brain can't process that there gone, what hurts the most is the when I search up unus annus the channel shows up but if you press on it, everythings gone, I thought I would be able to handle it getting deleted but I was wrong, I think it broke me
Update, I think my brain has finally accepted whats happened, it still hurts ofc but honestly, when you think about it, it makes it so much better knowing when somethings gunna leave, it still hurts ofc but it helps to know sometimes, and when my brain finally accepted unus annus being gone forever and only the memories staying it reminded me of something, I used to be really into lps when I was little, and there was this lps series called royal rebels, I watched it, then years later I came back to it, or atleast tried to, I could only find a crappy re-upload of the 1st ep, I was so confused but it turns out something happened with the creator and the channel was deleted, I was really sad about it cause I didn't think it was possible for a perfectly fine channel to get deleted, and then me moving from south carolina to Florida really wasn't fun, cause I never thought that I would leave my house, there was no timer telling me when I was gunna move, no timer saying when lucy was gunna die, there was just no timer saying when things were gunna change, whether it good or bad, it just happens, unus annus helped me see that, the only true thing that reminds you of those events are the memories, if you actually read this, thank you, memento mori my friends, though you can't see it, the clocks ticking...............................
