The English Lakes District: is the countryside racist? and other tales of wild England
I visited the Lakes off season to explore the geology but the National Park felt different and opened up a different story.
I imagined the nuclear fires of Windscale in 1957 created a Chernobyl like exclusion zone.. and the opportunity to have a truly wild landscape
what we have is a bit of a theme park, with some stunning but bleak mountains and very expensive housing.
This video is about exclusion from the countryside so I look behind the newspaper headings- is the English countryside racists?
