I quit playing magic back in 1998, Started playing again with my girlfriend 2 years ago and I just learned what commander is about a year ago. I'm learning and loving it. When I decided to research some, I never imagined there would be such a large and varied community. I'm glad I found your channel. It suites our house. Y'all are respectful but silly. Would love to see a "battle of the universes" where everyone chooses their favorite UB set, and makes a deck exclusively from that set. Then fight to see which franchise is superior. We did this yesterday and had fallout vs lotr vs dnd vs warhammer. It was glorious because we were all nerdy fans of these franchises before discovering magic together, and now we can fight to see which franchise is the best in magic!

Wouldn't Veggie be able to keep Zs commander since it died with a 1/1 counter on it while marchesa was out so it bipasses the command zone/graveyard and goes to her waiting room? I thought that is how the interaction worked when stealing creatures that have 1/1 counters on them and they die under your control.

Marchesa doesn't bring back the creature til the next end step, so going to the command zone happens before Veggie could bring them back. To steal a commander on death requires the kill/revive/steal effects to all happen consecutively in order to prevent the command zone dodge.

Esper sentinel should have been able to block without problem the last attack, he had protection agains 2 colours, and that commander was pentacolor, so as far as i know he shouldnt suffer any damage x.x

Buttercup/Sisay has a rainbow ability which makes her color identity for commander rainbow but her actual card color is just white because that’s all you need to cast her so the protection didn’t apply

Twisted is correct. Buttercup is a multicolor commander but she is only white when it come to Magic rules.
