In this video a Survivor encounters a surprise User-Created Cosmetic Costume dynamically added onto any server, including official servers.... and then, journey into the brave new world of Total Conversions using the new Mod game framework, which enables nearly anything that Unreal Engine can do to be released as a cross-platform Mod. We've a created a quick example to show one way to use it.
And then next up, the Mod Spotlight features basic examples of player-created Custom Structures which as of next week can be dynamically added onto any server, including Official Servers, allowing infinite functionality and visual variety. Finally, onto the Cross-Platform Mods released this week!

They essentially converted a game which, though extremely flawed, was fun at times, to what is essentially a game with the visual aesthetics of a mobile game targeted at 7 year olds, and something that serves as NOTHING but a tool to sell mods and generate profit

@@ribz-gd7ieBasically they made Ark better whilst making a smart business decision at the same time. Game Companies need to make profit, it’s very easy to judge when you’re not an accountant working for them.

@@ribz-gd7ie Those are fair points. I’ve not noticed any saturation issues though? I love the look of ASA? But it leaves a lot to be desired? Makes you question whether the issues with Ark are linked to just a poorly designed work cycle by the company? Or them constantly losing money on half baked projects like Atlas?

Please give us back the official ORP-PVP(offline raid protection) clusters that were shut down in ASE with the release of ASA I bought ASA specifically to play on my favorite ORP cluster again, but you shut it down in the original game and didn't bring it back in the remaster :(.

Ark 2 is probably HEAVILY on the backburner at this point, no clue about the series either, as for ASA maps they've actually posted a road map. I think the Center is supposed to release later this month

The platform mod is impressive, but honestly, it's a "why?" from me. I don't play ARK to play a Cuphead clone. When we get so far away from why we like ARK, what is the point? It IS impressive, but I wish it had kept the ARK style as in the previous example but more refined.

@Jtw2 it's more the whole Steamboat Willie total conversion mod part. That is ARK, but changed to the point where it's unrecognizable. I hope modders, who decide to try these things, keep their mods in the style of ARK, with its assets :)

I wish somebody would do a mod where dinosaurs had dynamic armor of all tears and weapons that you could put on them. the PC version had it but we don’t have it here. It’s a shame I keep thinking of the 80s cartoon Dino riders. Somebody really needs to do a Dino riders mod.

Hey Ark Devs I Wanted To let You Know That On Console For Xbox There Is A Issue With The Saving And Lagging Out and also The Radius For The Multiplayer is to low and it is annoying to keep pulling on Non Dedicated Servers, I Have Loved Ark Since it came out Back In 2015 and i am asking for you guys to look in to this issues and fix them please because i don't want to stop playing ASA its a beautiful master piece you have built and we would appreciate it. I think mods is the main way I'll want to get into pve. I'm currently on official pvp servers, though devs made it so everyone is gonna get decimated by mega tribes as soon as transfers go live. I feel like the only way I'll get to enjoy the game is with a modded pve experience at this point

All the new custom player-created cosmetics (such as Steamboat Mickey) and the player-created custom structures will automatically and dynamically work on Official Servers :) (the servers don't even have to have them installed!). So basically, infinite visual variety and new functionality for Official Servers, starting next week!

I downloaded circas rp decor onto my nitrado server but it doesnt work. It worked on none dedicated but once i got a server to play without a tether for me and my wife the mod stopped working. I dont know why i cant see any of the engrams.

Wouldn’t waist any money on pyro dlc. They slap paying customers in the face with bait and switch. It’s a cheap dlc that everyone can afford we support the company by buying all their dlc but the non paying customers complain so pyros get nurffed. Who cares it takes months of breeding to get those perfect stats because in one update paying supportive customers are slapped in the face. Not to mention game breaking crashes.

The fact that you guys will not commit to stabilizing, removing bugs, cheaters, and fixing your game to make it better than ASE before introducing new and exciting things that will be delayed more than played anyway is just counterproductive (not the word id use).... Who is your boss!! The game is losing more and more people, and you keep introducing things that other Games are going to implement and make yall obsolete! And have it working. I tried believing in yall again. I officially feel ripped off, scammed, and just not having fun with all the instability in your game and your business.

to be fair, they need to always keep on delivering new things for the game too and not only working on bug fix and stability, Otherwise people just stop playing since nothing to do, like I already finished Official server The Island 2-3 week ago, Full Alpha fight ascended my character, leveled it and all, farmed enough element for months of generator too, and just waiting for new maps to release to finish them too ! but without new stuff, no motivation to play, the bugs are not a problem, i crashed like 5 time in 500 hours of playing and the non-crash bug is easy to avoid.
