@@rogergonzalez9295 Hi Roger Gozales! I love saving money too! To me, it's all about smelling great and feeling good. By the way, many thanks for your comment. I really appreciate it. I hope to hear from you again whether you agree with my or not! All the very best.
@bigmodaco Hi there! I totally agree with you, Asad, by Lattafa, is a cologne of its own. That's why I got pissed off when I heard some RU-vidrs saying that Asad is a clone of Sauvage Elixir. I do like its scent and, like you, I get many compliments when I wear it. By the way, many thanks for your comment 👍
Asad is not a clone of Sauvage Elixir. It is of Paco Rabbane Pure XS. I saw a review of this somewhere and now have a tendency to agree. If you want a Sauvage Elixir clone there is Saviour and Enigma Une.
Asad is way more spicy. I dont think it smells that much like Sauvage Elixir. It is strong and dries down nicely. It does get better with a little age too. It got me my craziest compliment. A woman said she wished every man smelled as good as I did. 👍
I agree with you. I don't think Asad smells that much like Sauvage Elixir either that's why I honestly can't get what many reviewers have been talking about when they say that Asad is Sauvage Elixir clone. sometimes I think they kind of copy and past what other big youtubers say. Thanks for your comment.
Hi there! I totally agree with you, it has an amazing projection. Regarding the longevity I must say that you've been experiencing it for much longer than I, so your comment just comes to confirm what I had experienced but, as it's still pretty new to me, I was wondering how far it'd go. Thanks for letting me know. 10h+ is an excellent longevity; another reason to have a spare bottle in the house for those long days out when we need a reliable fragrance to see us all the way through until we get back home for a most needed shower!! 🙂 Thanks for your comment. I honestly appreciate it.
please review :) armaf ventana marine :), most of the note identical with LV imagination but :) the first review said it's duping rosa ocean black by prada :)
Dear Grim Singmuf, many thanks for sharing your experience with me. You really got me now wondering what kind of scent Asad Zanzibar provides and more, I honestly want to have a bottle of Zanzibar in my hands! Once again, many thanks - You got me exited to sniff it and enjoy its smell. By the way, my apologies for taking some time to get back to you, I was working on my latest review of Porto Neroli by Maison Alhambra, which I've just posted. Anyway, hope you're well.
I've got both Asad and Sauvage Elixir. Have I worn them side by side to see the similarities/differences? Yep. Are they the same? Nope. Are there similarities? Yep. Do I like them both for what they are? Yep. Asad is a bitchin' fragrance. It's one I'll gladly buy again. The price to performance ratio is brilliant. The performance and scent profile of Sauvage Elixir is amazing as well but it's definitely not one I'll wear when I go out food shopping, know what I mean? Asad on the other hand..... :D Good vid, mate!
I totally agree with you! Well said and straight to the point! I've been wearing Asad when going to work, and yes, also when popping in to the shops!! Many thanks for your comment, really appreciated.
I agree with your thought on clones . I have been collecting for a long time and I wear fragrances for me first and foremost so I like to where it in my own company . So why not get the clone and where it so you don’t waste the expensive stuff !
Hi Zack Ripa! I couldn't put it better myself. I totally agree with you. By the way, thanks for your comment 👍. I got a brand new review on another Lataffa fragrance coming up soon, which has been on the market for a while, but it's pretty new to me, so I hope you enjoy watching it. And of course, it'd be a pleasure to know what you think about it either you agree or disagree with my opinion. Thanks for your comment. I really appreciate it.
@@peterwitting72 Hi Peter Witting! I truly hope you enjoy it. Please let me know what you think. Thanks for your support. I'm honoured to have you on board.
@forscentssake I am a bit disappointed. It has the same scent as paco raban xs or extremely close for the the first 3-4 hours, but then the base comes out and I really enjoy that. Thank you for you review
@peterwitting72, I'm sorry to hear that Asad by Lattafa was a bit of a disappointment. But it is nice to know that after a while you could enjoy it more. Fragrances are a funny thing, aren't they?! It's not just a case of praying once, and we love or hate straightaway. Sometimes, we need time to find out whether a specific scent is really for us or not. Thanks for sharing your experience. The more I hear other people's experience, the more I learn about fragrances and how smells play a massive part in our lives and somewhat tell a bit about who we are in regards to our likes and dislikes. Once again, many thanks. 👍
The opening of both sauvage and asad are different in terms of smell and quality, but except the rubber kind of smell opening of Asad. I do enjoy it more than sauvage, especially in the dry down, it's more vanilic, sauvage stays balsamic and spicy in the dry down which i don't like to be honest. + the price is incomperable, i bought asad for 15€ which is a bargain !!
Hi Ana's Haj Thami! I really enjoyed reading your personal view on Asad vs Sauvage scent, and how you feel about both fragrances. I also like wearing Asad and as you mentioned, price wise there's no comparison. Thanks for your comment. I really appreciate it 👍
I own both, i dont see why i d pay 150 euros on dior if asad smells 90% the same, I even tested it on other people and they couldnt tell which one is which, some even said its the exact same and cant tell any difference.
Hi Lucian 👋 I totally agree with you! At the end of the day, when someone passes by you, they'll smell the scent of your fragrance and not see the price of it. But even if they would, who really cares? In my personal opinion, if I can get the fragrance I like for a low price, why wouldn't I buy it? As long as it's not a counterfeit or a stolen product, I, certainly, go for it! 😊 By the way, many thanks for your comment. I truly appreciate it 🙏
So where is the Sauvage Elixir you are comparing it to ? I like Asad I think it smells good, if you buying a clone with the expectation it will smell 100% like the original then you are not buying a Clone. Hello thats why its called a Clone it can never be like the Original.
Hi there! I bought a Sauvage Elixir, loved it and finished it off sometime ago! When I like a fragrance I do wear it just can't keep it on my shelf! So as I just have an empty bottle I thought it'd be silly to use it on my video, so though better to show a picture instead just to remind the viewer what I was talking about. You are absolutely right, if a fragrance smells 100% like the other, so they're the same and not a clone! That's why I got a kind of cross with some fragrances reviewers belittling Asad by Lattafa. To me it makes no sense in buying a clone and then go comparing expecting them to smell the same. It's like you said, clones can never be like the original. By the way, Many thanks for your comment.
It would be great if you could provide some trusted website and their links where we can purchase this fragrance as well as fragrances you will review in the future. Great video and keep it up!
Hi Ash! Firstly, many thanks for your comment and support. I'll add the link of the website I purchased Asad Lattafa from onto the video's description as soon as I get to my personal computer (am on my mobile phone at the moment!) and thanks for the suggestion. I hadn't thought about it before, but going forward I will add the link of the websites I buy the fragrances from. Once again, I really appreciate your comment and support.
Hello there!👋 You're right, the bottle is made of plastic, but I must say though it feels quite solid and heavy. I've seen much worse, like for example In 2 U by Calvin Klain, which, by the way, is a well known brand. But its bottle is very plasticky and the longevity is really poor compared to Asad. Yes, Asad by Lattafa does remind Sauvage Elixir especially when you first spray it, but the notes differ to the point that as the fragrance settles it shows different variations of smells. Also, I agree with you it smells pretty good 👍 I like it and I honestly recommend it. By the way, thank you so much for your comment. I truly hope to hear from you again whether you agree with me or not. All the very best.
@@forscentssake btw I've Asad and I've not used it much cuz initially I didn't like it much but now it feels okay. Tomorrow I've placed an order for dior sauavge elixir. Hopefully I enjoy that 😅 Will I like it ? It is not like Asad na? Asad kind of seems oriental to me a bit.
@@sagittarius544 Personally, I do like Sauvage Elixir, but it's hard to say whether you'll like it as much as I do or if you'll like it at all purely because it's smell might not appeal to you. I'd very interested to know, so please when you put your hands on Sauvage Elixir tell me if you like it or not. According to my experience Asad by Lattafa at the first spray reminds me of Sauvage Elixir but within minutes it changes offering a scent of its own. I'll keep my fingers crossed hoping you'll enjoy wearing Sauvage Elixir, but if you don't then keep it for you to wear occasionally as many people do enjoy its fragrance. Anyway, I'll be waiting to hear from you when you get it. 👍
Hi there! You're right. As a fragrance settles down you can get the real scent it offers. I've noticed that the alcohol at the first blast can be, sometimes, the main smell one captures, but as it evaporates the fragrance's notes start to kick in revealing it's true character. I haven't, recently, come across many fresh fruity scents, but if I do I share it here. All the best.
Hi there 👋 thanks for watching and for your comment. I hope you enjoy wearing Asad by Lattafa as much as I do. All the best 👍 and hope to hear from you again soon.
Hi Jans Cholo Chua! I do agree with you, it does take a profile close enough and yes, it's not perfect, but it does offer a great scent, which I, honestly, like. And guess what? I've been informed by one of my viewers, who's been wearing it for about 6 months, that Asad by Lattafa has a long lasting longevity of 10hrs+. It's certainly a great longevity! Thank you very much for your comment. I truly appreciate it 👍
@@GrimSingmuf I've just looked on YT and seen it. But I'm now searching on Amazon and it's not showing anywhere. At least now I've seen the bottle, so I know what to look out for. I'll keep on searching!!
@@GrimSingmuf I'll keep on searching for it. And as soon as I manage to put my hands on a bottle I'll review it. Thanks for mentioning this fragrance. 👍
Hi YNW Rubbiz! It does offer a light oriental scent, however though not that much. I like it. To my nose and liking it's worth having. I strongly recommend it.
What a pity. I truly hope you like the next one, which is coming up in a couple of days. But thanks for letting me know. I'm new in this business and therefore I'm always on the look out for different ways of improving. Each day is a learning day! 🙂
