It's great that you're exploring Asaf Avidan! My favorite is the title track from his album "Poor Boy/Lucky Man". And of course "Reckoning Song'. I'm very happy that I found your channel.
My God! You are on to all my favorits. First Ren, then Dirt Miller and now Asaf! Jezz! you are fast becoming my favorit reactor! In december I was at a concert with Asaf when he visited Copenhagen - It was so great ❤🙏
@@SaeedReacts. It was definitely a great experience! And then the fact that he actually plays Live! At one point he had to start a song from the beginning because he didn't hit the beat in the loop he had made with his pedal... Cool to see that he could laugh at himself and was so professional that he just started over... But feel free to continue down this road. Asaf has so much great music - and just like Ren; He is not like everyone else. Very unique
@@SaeedReacts.Oh my God, not another rabbit hole? Who's gonna work?😂 I've checked some other of his songs and he's otherworldly. Thank you so much for your reactions ❤️
Thanks for the reaction 🙏. I'm glad you liked it. Definitely one of my favorite songs. In my opinion, this song describes a distorted relationship where each partner tries to lower his value in the eyes of the other, perhaps in order not to be the one who ends the relationship. The instrumental part at the end is maybe the inner demons, or the bare emotions expressed in the screams... at least that's my interpretation. Seagulls is also good 😉
I was lucky enough to see him live in London last year. Phenomenal artist! In a Box is recorded live. Live means no editing, no re-recording, no auto-tuning… no tampering., (from his description). Can't seem to find your reaction to 900 Days?!?
Asaf 😍😍 I love this man, he is so special in his performances! He doesn't really care to sound "good" or "right", he just wants to get his feelings out (through whatever sound) and evoke emotions in himself and others. Superinteresting artist with poetic lyrics on some deep subjects. His In-a-box series are his unedited live performances, and although I do love the album versions as well, his live stuff is on another level. I like your interpretation of it, and really experienced the song with you. Thank you so much for doing this song for me. 🥰You are so respectful towards the artists too. Where is the reaction for his other song "900 days"? Can't find it..
Wait did Ren tell you about Asaf? Because i knew him before Ren and the first time i saw Ren i was like "Dude feels like the Brother of Asaf" :D My Respect for Ren is even bigger now
