Are you kidding me. This stuff is literally everywhere I go. Those ceiling tiles are still everywhere and God knows if they're damaged. They sure look it
my brothers a pre apprentice so he doesn’t have much experience in the field like my dad and i , the journeymen at his job site treat him like 💩, and the other day he told me that his leadmen told him to make holes into the ceiling tiles and didn’t tell him it contained asbestos, he was exposed to it and inhaling it for 6 hours w no mask or proper ppe , afterward another worker told my brother it was asbestos and his leadmen told him he’d be okay because he’s young. 😐
very sorry to hear about this. not fair at all. i hope you get justice and can find the resources to properly sue or take legal action. not okay at all. blessings to your family
A good video with good information, not sure about the “have a shower at home” advice. We mustn’t be taking any asbestos home, but other than than that, we’ll done
if you got to steamtown in Pennsylvania in their train "graveyard" you can see plenty of old asbestos patches on the engines that are totally open to the elements
@thomas burns unfortunately the UK was one of the largest importers of Asbestos in the world and it is still the number one occupational disease. Over 5,000 people will die this year, 2022, from an asbestos related lung disease.
