a few months ago while trying to fall asleep I felt a hand come over my left shoulder when I was about to roll over.. the moment the hand came down on me it felt like my entire body was filled with this light joyful energy.. It wasn't like happiness or feeling good, it was completely unearthly and extremely overwhelming, I almost couldn't handle it. The moment the hand lifted I reactively shouted, "Thankyou!" I didn't even think to say this because at the moment I was just in a complete state of shock. I noticed after the back pain I usually have happened to be gone at the time and the joy lingered too. I couldn't believe it.. I am a Christian, but I'm not perfect, I mess up sometimes, sometimes I have a hard time believing God likes me. But I figure if this is anything like what heaven is like, I want in, and I want in right now. There is nothing in this world I want to take with me.

Thank you for posting. I thought I was one of the very few who is seeing this as a man-made striving for the sign gifts, typical of charismaticism, and is not a work of God.
@@sethregan8734 search the King James Bible and see this is folly. Stop buying into feelings over faith. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. I watched several live streams. Emotional driven experience never should trump the written word of God. Ever.

Thank you Jesus! Thats a wonderful experience and so beautiful that the Holy Spirit would confirm it to you (by 2 witnesses (Deut 17:6)). My question, and one to pray about might be “Dad, why do this for my son? What is it your up to in his life?, what do you want to do in my son’s life or show him, why give him this experience?”. We know that: Hebrews 1:14 “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” And they normally have a very specific purpose in showing up, so I think a great one to pray about is “Dad, why do this (and confirm it) for my son? What are you up to in his life.” Incidentally I love how in Acts 12 God sends an angel to release Peter from dark prison! I wonder if Jesus is wanting to show your son spiritual realities, so he can trust that God’s power is over and beyond/above physical realities (the angel opened the cell door & Peter and the angel walked out).
If there was anyway that an angel was not seen and this is in man's mind please DO NOT destroy what happened in Asbury by turning it into supernatural hype instead of worship.
Asbury is not a work of God. Experiences over the word of God. No preaching of the Gospel. Angels are not given the mission of preaching the Gospel, this is the mission Jesus Christ gave to us.
We are told by Paul in Colossians 2:18-19 not to let visions, that is, our experiences, defraud us, even experiences of what we perceive to be angelic, since these experiences do nothing but puff up the one who has had them and takes focus off of Jesus. What I have seen of the Asbury event is women in leadership, sodomites leading worship, speaking in "tongues," exorcism, the singing of Hillsong works which are well known to be either very theologically weak, or downright heretical, and an aversion to what is commonly called "conversion therapy" for sodomites on campus. It seems that what we are seeing is not a renewed hunger for Jesus and repentance from those things which are called abominations, but rather, simply a hunger for the sign gifts. While Jesus certainly had the power to work miracles and to cast out demons, and we see in scripture that this ability was given to the Apostles for a short time as an authenticating sign to unbelievers that what they spoke came from God, let me be very clear here, this was NEVER an ability that was given to the church. Always bear in mind that Satan can perform what appears to us to be “miracles,” and he appears as an angel of light, so just because you may witness a "miracle," that is no demonstration that what is seen is of God. Matthew 7:21-23 - “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, in Your name did we not prophesy, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name do many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’ In this passage, Jesus refers to prophesy, exorcism, and miracle-working as bad fruit, acts of lawlessness performed by false prophets who are wolves in sheep’s clothing. The practitioners are those who do not know Yahweh, who apparently use the name of Jesus as if it were a magical incantation. The working of the lawless one, Satan, includes “power and signs and false wonders, and with all the deception of unrighteousness…” (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10). For those who perish, “God sends upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in unrighteousness” (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12). That is to say, those who perish are fooled into thinking that these signs and wonders are of God and for His glorification, they take pleasure in the signs rather than in Christ, and they will follow those who practice such things.
Amen! So true. Charlatan Daniel Adam's Claimed that the gal that cast out the demon was from his ministry. Perhaps she was a plant, to help increase his so called deliverance ministry and movie coming out. Never the lest he is an opportunist besides being a charlatan.
