We were blessed to take our oldest grand daughter to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Asbury. God is good.

God has led me to witness many such devilish goonbabbles over the years. All are the same. The rise of the beast church full of strong delusion. What I un-affectionately call The Church of Sodom. Real Holy Spirit power guards God's children from the deception.

It was a genuine honor for me to be able to come and join, ever so briefly, what God is doing there!

Wrong. It was planned. So were the other 7 Asbury faked February "revivals." Asbury was Sodomites preaching, witches screeching, and devils babbling, and not one man of God there who believes God to rebuke any of it.

Hey A. D., it is certainly appropriate to question whether events like what happened at Asbury are genuine. In light of Matthew 12:22-32, I would be very careful about about claiming people repenting and giving their lives to Jesus was a work of Satan.

WHOSOEVER BELIEVES SHALL TESTIFY TO THE TRUTH Romans 10: 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” TO DIE IS TO REJECT SALVATION IN JESUS CHRIST AND BE SEPARATE FROM GOD FOREVERMORE Salvation and forgiveness of sins is the blessing of anyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We receive the baptism of God the Holy Spirit immediately which seals us in Christ and that is permanent! Ephesians 1:13-14. Those who reject the free gift of salvation, see John 3:16 above, "perish", which means their sins are judged by God the Son and they suffer eternal separation from God and the family of God forever called the "second death". Pray with your christian friends in small groups, and share your faith, and pray for revival. If your pastor isnt into it, PRAY for your pastor until HE is filled with the Holy Spirit and is preaching Jesus.

Everything pointed to a genuine move of God. It was wonderfully refreshing.

There is so little hype. The focus is all on worshiping Jesus. No other singular figure is at the heart of it. It isn’t about the preaching or the worship. The focus is on what God is doing in the lives of young people.

@@DigitalTheologian The University is not a sleeping College. The students are active in their prayer life. Do you think God will use them if they are sleeping? God used this humble Christian Students, in a Christian University. God avoided Christians who are proud of their PhDs because they will glorify themselves and not God.

Not as of right now. It’s only an hour away, so I won’t rule it out.

​@@DigitalTheologian , I really hope this is real, but I already see red flags, the false prosperity gospel lunatics are already showing up, they need to be kicked out. The gospel of Jesus Christ needs to be preached, Repentance of sin. The Holy Spirit will always point to Jesus Christ not Himself. Hope is real, time will tell .

I’ve been encouraged that no outsider preachers/ministers have been given a platform. They seem to have been very intentional to keep the focus on repentance and calling people to Jesus. Aside from signing a few songs, the entire time I was there was centered on sharing testimonies of what Jesus has done, calling people to repent, and inviting people to come to Christ as their savior. It was a refreshingly simple appeal for people to respond to the Gospel. I was only there one day, so I can’t speak for everything that has been going on. However, my experience was very encouraging.

Many of them were. There were times of worship and prayer that I witnessed. There were also lots of believers from different regions connecting and hearing each other’s stories. God is everywhere, yet Jesus and the early disciples regularly went to the temple. The disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit multiple times in the upper room. I think there is something to periodically going somewhere when you are hungry for more of God. It isn’t required, but I don’t think it is harmful, either.

ANYone can go- to ANY so- called church and find people worshipping and praying but that does NOT give the evidence it is ligit??? Do YOU not know that only those who are born again BY the spirit OF God ARE the Church and it has absolutely NOTHING to do with going- to ‘a’ church where there are thousands upon thousands of them who come in their own name - someone else’s name and PUTS Gods name on it??? Do you NOT know that the reason Jesus Christ ‘came in ‘His Fathers name was because He came FROM the Father and that He was the Only Begotten Son of the Father because He WAS the Father? Which marks a difference between the Son who was formed from the dirt and the Daughter - who came out from the man that was formed out of the dirt ?

Jesus ministry was NOT in the Temple it was out and about on the streets He went TO the Temple simply because the fullness of time to DESTROY it had NOT come!!!

The disciples were NOT filled several times in the upper room The disciples were commanded/ directed to go - to the upper room to wait to receive power from the Holy Spirit which would enable them to do as the Lord did AS the Lord allowed It is God who quickens the person whether it is for salvation OR to activate the spiritual gifts He has chosen to dispense Man has a tendency to put himself where he doesn’t belong AND he has a tendency to give his opinion instead of waiting on the lord to signify that he/ she has heard from the Lord ‘Feelings’ have NO place in the Kingdom of God and depending on what is necessary at ANY given moment GOD chooses how to relate to each individual for with each individual He has His own way of speaking to His own - the disciple learns the language of God by being trained IN it

Hey Mandy, you’re right that Jesus never mentioned revival, but Acts and the early church show a pattern of thousands gathering around people preaching about Jesus, healing the sick, and calling people to turn away from their current lifestyle and toward Jesus. It wasn’t called “revival” then because it was simply the vibrant life of the early Christian community empowered by the Holy Spirit. I’ll do a video soon on what revival is. One of the testimonies I heard while there was of a young man who felt like he had offended God so much that he could never be forgiven. During his time at Asbury, the young man received prayer and felt that God met him, declared his love over him, and forgave him. In moments like that, I’m always reminded of Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” His love meets us at our lowest. He died for us while we were his enemies. There is always hope both for you and your family. May God’s overwhelming love draw you all closer to himself!

Remember, in your church, the sound doctrine in the Apostles Creed is greatly needed as truth in the church today. We are saved by Jesus, and Christ alone!

Or their lives could be radically changed and set on a different trajectory like many in past revivals. The narrative isn’t written yet. I’ll choose hope in the meantime.

And WHAT would that be ??? Hope is in God alone NOT man AND God is the Truth - it’s who HE IS I AM not persuaded as a ‘born again believer - NOT a ‘so- called ‘ Christian like that of the catholic pope who is full of doctrines of demons and the rest of the religious who are NO less heathen themSELVES If most people actually believed IN the God they profess He would have come back along time ago!!! God spoke of the Great Apostasy and an ‘in- gathering’ He has but one standard and it’s NOT a what - for Jesus Christ is a WHO Revival? I don’t believe it and THAT is NOT a my mere- opinion - WHERE IS THE EVIDENCE??? I have YET for the HOLY spirit to bear witness to this as a truth and not people claiming it’s a move from God Holy Spirit brings Unity of the Faith NOT man and WHEN He DOES - HE IS the Witness TO it!!!

When you mentioned in your video that you were a PhD Theologian, the first thing I thought of was this: MATTHEW 24:24 There are many interpretations of this. They all basically say the same. Here are two versions. Guard yourself. KJ21 For there shall arise false christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. NLV People who say they are Christ and false preachers will come. They will do special things for people to see. They will do great things, so that if it can be done, God’s people will be fooled to believe something wrong.

My prayer is that it would be more along the lines of Matthew 13:52 “He (Jesus) said to them, “Therefore every teacher of the law who has become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.””

@@DigitalTheologian Honestly, I hope your prayer is right. It all depends on what these "new treasures" are. As a Pentecostal, Church of God Cleveland Assembly (Lee University) I am being very cautious as every Christian should be. I know Lee University was a part of this. But I don't make my decisions by what denomination approves it. If the "treasures" that come from this are not biblical, or try to add men's opinion to scripture, to change it to tickle their ears, I'm out. I know denominations have their own interpretations of verses, but now days it seems they want to make what the bible says," what is wrong into right" and "what is right into wrong." Peace.

@delaineharvey5177, she was certainly a broken woman, but she was the first woman on radio in the US, founded a denomination that continues today, and held meetings that led thousands to Jesus. I don’t have to agree with her theology to marvel at what occurred in LA. Moses, David, Peter and Paul were all imperfect. The same could be said of Martin Luther, John Calvin, or John Wesley. God works with us in the midst of our imperfections. I know my life and theology aren’t perfect. I continually need the grace of God. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.

It seemed that many were repenting and turning toward God’s law as you described. I’m not sure that having music playing negates the sincerity of that, but we may have to disagree on that point. Thanks for watching and commenting respectfully.

While following God's law (basically the Ten Commandments) is important and a part of being Christian, where Adventists and Garner Ted Armstrong (whom I like and miss) do err is not recognizing the fact of living a HOLY life. God said more than once that we are to be HOLY as He is Holy and in Hebrews it says "WITHOUT HOLINESS NO MAN (PERSON)SHALL SEE THE LORD". This was the foundational principle of Methodism as taught by John Wesley and they have it written above the organ but I hear nothing of it spoken of or emphasized here. I am a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary many years ago and it was taught then but I have no idea what's going on today. I wonder how many students could tell you what the name ASBURY means. The school is named after Francis Asbury, the first bishop of the Methodist Church. As to emotionalism, I had a professor at Houghton College, a Wesleyan Methodist School who used to say, "You have no MOTION WITHOUT EMOTION" Every place Jesus went and healed and cast out demons was filled with emotion! Even the demons were SCREAMING as in the case that happened here with the woman who had some problem. Jesus had NO problem with emotion. The sad TRUTH is that Methodism was BORN with a Pentecostal flavor, there were gifts of the Spirit manifest as tongues, healings and John Wesley was not against it, just that it did not get out of control. But that power left Methodism and went to Pentecostals who have abused it and pretty much lost it themselves. If they QUENCH the Holy Spirit's power here, this movement will end quickly!

God the Holy Spirit teaches through the Word of God in the Bible. Hebrew: עִמָּנוּאֵל, "God with us" in human flesh but without sin. The Savior of the world was born to die for our sins! He did so 33 years later. His terrible ordeal; body mutilated; blood poured out, finally died (John 19:30; Luke 23:46 ) and was placed in a tomb and rose from the dead the 3rd day ! "HE IS RISEN" Matthew 28: 6. Hebrews 9:22 BY GOD'S GRACE ALONE THROUGH FAITH ALONE IN JESUS CHRIST ARE WE SAVED Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast." Jesus died and paid the penalty for our sins to rescue us from eternal death. He died on our behalf. We believe in Him, trusting His death and shedding His blood as payment for ALL our sins and His burial and resurrection from the dead the third day! John 20:24-31; 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4 above. WHOSOEVER BELIEVES SHALL TESTIFY TO THE TRUTH Romans 10: 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” TO DIE IS TO REJECT SALVATION IN JESUS CHRIST AND BE SEPARATE FROM GOD FOREVERMORE Salvation and forgiveness of sins is the blessing of anyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We receive the baptism of God the Holy Spirit immediately which seals us in Christ and that is permanent! Ephesians 1:13-14. Those who reject the free gift of salvation, see John 3:16 above, "perish", which means their sins are judged by God the Son and they suffer eternal separation from God and the family of God forever called the "second death".
