Hamilton County tested weird today, not sure what that was about. They tested in the usual alert for 3 minutes, but then did two extra short alerts shortly afterward. I had limited space on my camera, long story short, only the last two alerts were recorded. You can hear multiple Modulators from across the river

0:49 The Aeron Show was testing an Aeron Show 4-3222 nearby that caused this siren to stop rotating for a second. Man, I have a wild imagination.

That helps sound get across hilly areas, but yes it’s height is a bit excessive. Usually when this high, they are on top of tall buildings.

This indirectly replaced a Thunderbolt at the bottom of the hill that was removed in the mid-90s.

There is modulator 2008 by one of the bridges. It might be by the purple peeble bridge

The fire station at the base of mt adams (engine 6 ladder 15) had a thunderbolt up until 1995 or so. There was no siren until this 128 was put up in the last decade.

nope, this one is at Eden park near downtown. Replaced a thunderbolt that was removed in the 90s.

Andy A its weird, I had very little space on my camera, and it does this thing sometimes where after the record button is pressed, it doesn't actually record and this wasn't noticed till the alert was mostly done so I decided to cut that part out
