That looks like a good siren, don't these have rotor motor RPM selections? correct me if I'm wrong.

At least the new system seems to respond better to the alert activation. I was at Greenfield Park that day and it only went for attack.

When this video was taken the new system was not online since we put it in the day before. This is me running it from the computer.

I was told that the radio's in these new sirens are designed to better respond to the fast DTMF tones. Which explains why the current sirens with the older radios like greenfield parks P-50 only went off for attack the past 2 tests.

@@zachzebra56 These use the same radios as the last ones, just new decoder boards. I think these will have the same issues due to the main problem being with the county radio system and signal strength / clarity due to poor signal.

@@FSThunderboltfan1000 ah yes. That's another factor to the attack or alert only tests. Hopefully they can fix that sooner than later.

@@zachzebra56 Well thats a county level deal. Could need better antennas as they furnished those or they will need to slow down the DTMF so that way if the audio is crap for a brief period it give it a chance to get better before the data is corrupted.

It’s sad to see the old ACA system gone (let alone a few sirens still up) but hey, atleast they got a pretty good replacement!

After a few months of delays. (It was supposed to start in late may early june fun fact!) They have finally started replacing the sirens in Milwaukee! I was told the older ASC sirens were getting replaced first so im surprised to see the "ASC" Allertor get replaced already. It's possible they already did all of the older ASC sirens though. Assuming they are doing this somewhat daily. We could see the full systemwide replacement of all sirens excluding the hurricane in mid to late August at least. So catch the older ACA sirens while you still can! Im hoping to get an ambience of the Greenfield park P-50 one last time in August if it hasn't been replaced by then. (I know they are going after the 50's last) anyways though, nice video!

Dang they're actaully starting to replace them. Unfortunally the milwaukee sirens I used to watch younger are going away but thats ok

@@will09666 Yea. It's really sad to see our childhood sirens be taken off the system for good. These sirens have faithfully served and protected Milwaukee for over 40 years at most. It's nice to know that they will be put in good hands once they are taken down. Weither that will be in the hands of enthusiasts or reinstalled in other counties in Wisconsin.
