All the credit goes to the dooo he is an amazing artist and I will leave his channel in the description this video is also made so that you don’t have to skip the video The Dooo / @thedooo
Former sweetwater employee here, been wanting to start RU-vid for a long time but I have been waiting until I felt as if the skill was there, I’m still not perfect but I thought I played better than some of the people I worked with in the guitar gallery at sweetwater. Regardless that’s just my opinion I really need other’s opinions and I feel like I would want to do content similar to thedooo in the way of not showing my face as I feel I’m not attractive enough to be on camera and I shouldn’t be the main focus it should be about the music. Age has nothing to do with why I won’t go on camera I’m 24 so that’s not really the issue lol, In the short of me playing on my channel I’m not trying as hard as I can to play the solo and I’m capable of much more than this so this is really just like a “taste test” if you will so don’t expect any arpeggios or tapping although I’m very good at tapping and have been practicing my arpeggios to get them down fast, anyways I’m not a pro but I feel like the boost in confidence from gaining a following would boost my skill level just like when you get a new guitar it makes you feel better about playing so you want to play better and In turn that makes me feel like I’m getting close to where I need to be for me to feel comfortable starting the journey on RU-vid. anyways sorry for the book you just read over this amazing guitar work. 3 years later and this is still one of my favorite songs. I have issues that make emotion difficult to comprehend or access, but this song, every time, it gets me in some way. Love you Dooooo, you are an amazing artist and you should make more original pieces, they're all amazing. But this one is special
This belongs with the legends. Eddie Van Halen, Eric Johnson, Andy Timmons, Herman Li. If this track doesn't go down in history... People don't know how to appreciate guitar.
Father's Day. My weekend with my kids. And started to cry by the end of this. My son was mesmerized by this, he's going on 3. Awesome playing Dooo, just legendary.
After 4 years of playing guitar and for the past 3 years, every month attempting to learn this solo I've finally gotten it, not super clean but this is a huge milestone for me
Dude, this man is Amazing!!! He's got a kick ass personality, he's a funny dude, and he is one hell of a musician. His piano playing is incredible and I had no idea he wrote this song! As if I didn't have the upmost respect for him now it's just mind blowing to think the power of someone's mind to be able to write a music piece like this. I could listen to this over and over and over🤘🏼🔥
This song really makes me feel something I can’t explain. There’s a story behind it, but that story is up for you to choose. Easily the best song ever made!
This seriously deserves more exposure....and could be put up there with some amazing songs. The Doo.....we need a new 2 year update video of this song.
1:27 The piano he plays is from Dragon Ball Z. That's Gohan's ssj2 rage theme. A masterpiece altogether. It's 2021, and yet you can't ever stop the appreciation. Music is a beautiful thing ❤️
😮 That was so beautiful. I am not a fan of the new fancy guitar style but I have to say you have inspired me by your playing , but most of all, the feeling of this entire piece of music. I wonder what Hendrix would say if he were alive today to see how far guitar leads have come since he broke it wide open in 1966? I am going to copy some of your licks. I never had a whammy bar but man, what it does with the overall sound is amazing. Your are a great musician. The sky is the limit.
What a beautiful tune man, absolutely love your stuff. I'm about to buy my first guitar after watching you for a few weeks. Your skills are incredible!
I am just absolutely bare bones learning the piano at a snails pace. I've learned some melodies such as Aeriths theme, theme of love(ffIV), Corridors of Time, etc. Needless to say I immediately went to my keyboard and learned the melody to this song. So beautiful. Powerful stuff.
Everytime he starts to shred I am reminded of Dynasty Warriors soundtracks. Does that mean my brain is broken? Or did that soundtrack actually shred this hard? Who cares? Well done, Dooo!
Learning this rn, I’ve been playing guitar since I was a little kid, this is my biggest challenge yet and the song touches my soul a special way I can’t even describe it. I’ve been a fan of the dooo too and I’ve always loved his content, it reminds me of my childhood and gives me nostalgic feelings inside. So good man.
Thank you for Blessing me with this creation Eric! Every time I listen to this I get goosebumps. Please keep doing you bro. You are a Legend 🙏 Much love from Oregon
All hail the mighty shredlord! 🙌 you're a fucking legend sir! I hate that I feel like I need to disclaim it.. but Mr TheDoo, you are a top 3 guitarist ever
In all honesty I was about to slit my wrists before I heard this on my playlist, thank you dooo you've added at least a few more days to my clock. I try to entertain just like you do but apparently nobody wants to hear my trash excuse for music. Just today I had a car drive by that threw a rock that hit me in the back of the head. As a result I fell forward busting my knee and dislocating index finger on my right hand. Apparently I just need to give up on playing because this has happened 5 times in under a month. Apparently here in WV if you aren't playing gospel you get stoned by oncoming traffic.
