Assclap has been a staple for me ngl, and to be fair you only really need him at np2

Funny how he comes to powercreep Irisviel, and in Granblue there's a new character (Tikoh) who uses the Asclepius Rod and powercreeps both Sophia and Fif in the healing department. She also has thighs for days.

The fact that Assclapius has a banner with HOT WHEELS is great.

Title: _The Ultimate Healer._ Nightingale: _"You need an amputation"_ In all serious thought, Asclepius I think are for people who missed Irisviel the 2nd time around, and offers a lot more utility outside survivability. Irisviel guts memes is still stupid if you own an MLB Prisma Cosmos which takes care of her detrimental NP gain. The current status of dedicated healers on FGO are as follows: □ Nightingale - Can act as a pivot DPS servant on longer fights (i.e. Boddhisattva Kiara). A crippling debuff upon NP towards the opponent and coupled with Damage Cuts can reduce NP damage to 0. With the introduction of Reines, she can safely enter fights now by utilizing Reines' NP to change her class affinity. □ Irisviel - Probably been powercrept the most by Asclepius himself. Although Irisviel has the superior guts mechanics, Asclepius just offers way more utility with NP charge, debuff cleanse, and crippling the enemy. Irisviel has detrimental NP gain and damage that she can't quite maintain in a long fight unless equipped with an MLB Prisma Cosmos. □ Medea Lily - Has the most problems as a dedicated healer. Same problems as Iri but without the all-desired Guts. Although her healing values are higher, poison mitigation is not something you need ALL the time. Guts are perpetually in demand since bosses just keeps on getting stronger and stronger as the game ages.

One thing that that Iri has over Asclepius: Survivability her guts works on her and she has a Invul.

The funny thing is, you aren't actually too wrong. Asclepius is pronounced closer to "S(like saying the letter S)-clep(like clap, but with an e instead of a)-E(like saying the letter E)-oes(like T-oes)" with a really sharp S sound at the end, rather than "As-clep-E-us"

Asclepius can be used as a swap-out farming support too : 20% charge + 30% NP gain is always good to have around! He won't support everyone (they need to have a decent refund of their own) but it can be done

Yeah saving for Ass Claps is going to be rough, but will be so worth it in the end. Hopefully Gilfest and the upcoming Hunting Quests will cure my lack caster gems

I got a Lvl 100 Chaldea Livesaver CE ... been using it on all my support Casters since it gives Guts, NP Gain and a 3k HP .... Really gonna help this guy out too since he doesnt get his own guts

I’m mixed on this upcoming banner, the servants are really good and I’m not sure if I need Arjuna alter since I’m getting closer to having a servant for almost every situation and Arjuna alter is amazing but I can only see myself using him in challenge quests that have multiple enemy types because I’ll probably use the event servants for event farming and clearing low end farm nodes is good for him but not necessary. I still don’t have Merlin so there’s that problem and overall this year is pretty crazy with servants so I’m just saving for later. I’m also planning on doing a meme strategy with the saber wars 2 banner because the 4 star CE Mikotto! Bridal Training could save a servant but I’m saving that for a gimmick heal team. This year has a lot and while the stuff I’m waiting for isn’t around the corner I’m still overwhelmed because I don’t know how much this will cost. I also need to keep track of my money for other games as well buying gifts for friends and family. I won’t roll here but kind of want to, I wish everyone else good luck on this banner.

Got him at np4 and grailed him to 80. I'm gratefu to him. He carried Me through Lb 5 along with mash and ozy. He's a 5 Star in desguize

I wasn't interested in this guy at first during his banner but now i suddenly got him in the all caster banner and I'm so happy I did

Had him wit Merlin and Lakshmi when I fought the 2nd encounter of goetia. I lasted for 32 turns when the demon decides to self destruct. Good thing guts did its thing and kept my 2 other servants alive to beat him up.

Essentially free party np gain up 20% aoe charge with debuff cleanse party wide guts so he can do his job and get killed like a good support w.o technically having to resort to gong or a halloween princess

Dr. Assclap saved my ass in the BBHotep fight. Sure I had an absolutely broken frontline but I wouldn't have gotten by without his Immunity and Cleanse.

The reason why healers aren't popular is because the game balance post Camelot threw game balance out the door. The game prior to Camelot was pretty well balanced. Now at this point with mob damage being so high even on farming nodes the only way to win is to pedal to the metal on stacked dps buffs. Especially since boss hp is often extremely high, 2nd turn invincibility pierce full party wipe AoE, and crit/defense pierce buffs that render the tiny amount of hp that servants restore entirely pointless. The only way that healers would be considered valuable again is to return the game balance to where it was pre Camelot. IE drastically reduce mob health and damage. The people who say that the game had to get more difficulty and the spike in Camelot was needed are either liars or idiots. Games don't have to get more difficulty. There doesn't need to be powercreep. Plenty of games are mega fun and offer very little in the way of challenge at all. Instead they offer an incredibly immersive experience by faithfully implementing the game's story and setting to make the player feel like they are a part of the story and world endowed with agency instead of using completely arbitrary and capricious game board rules which ruin immersion and violate the story.

I don't know about martha being wishy washy as her support offense kit as it is now is more useful than you make it sound. Granted she does ko like single targets but that's not really her job. Her job is to make the target as squishy as possible with 2 defense debuffs and provide a 2and or 1st set of heals and debuff removals if you're using her with the doc, nightingale medea lily, or irisviel while having 1 single target hitter.

Asclepius only flaw is not guts'in himself
