For those who are wondering why Timor Leste is not here, it's because the video only includes ASEAN members. ASEAN stands for Association of South East Asian Nations and it's like a political-economic cooperation agency though I'm not very sure. Up to this day, Timor Leste is not yet a member state but soon they will I think. Anyways, hello to my fellow South East Asian brothers (including Timor Leste ofc).

I love the oldest flag of Thailand. Feels strong a little bit of dramatic, it looks like Japan with a bit of unique details. I prefer it than the current flag.😄

The old flag of Thailand is really beautiful, it has a unique deep red color that is not found in other countries' flags and also the majesty of the elephant, now all countries' flags are full of colors and shapes.

Indonesia uses and re-adapts the flags used during the Majapahit era as the state flag and naval jack. It just happens to be similar to the Dutch flag. Citing the Encyclopaedia Britannica, the Indonesian flag was officially adopted on August 17, 1945, three days after the end of World War II. It remained the national flag when Indonesia won recognition of its independence from the Netherlands in 1949.

FYI: In 2017, Thailand doesn't change the flag. The color was standardized in the 100th years anniversary of the tricolor flag.

For those who relized why the Singapore flag turned into Malaysia flag? Actualy the curent indonesian flag was originated from kediri flag and you can find the flag carved on borobudur temple relief. The reason why indonesian flag (Sang Saka Merah Putih) were asociated with majapahit because indonesian independent movement are the realization of Gajah Mada's Palapa Oath to unite all nusantara under one flag. Although not all nusantara became indonesian teritory, but the curent indonesia is so close to the realisation of that oath. The founder of majapahit, Raden Wijaya is the grandson of the latest king of Kediri. His ambition was tor revive kingdom of kediri. Because of this, when majapahit first born as a kingdom in eastern half of java, Raden Wijaya using his old kingdom flag as the flag of majapahit. When majapahit started it's expansionism, they using kediri flag stacked as majapahit imperial flag, while the old kediri flag used as the flag of majapahit main teritory and now being used as Indonesian National Flag, while majapahit imperial flag used as Indonesian Naval Jack.
