It's great. Got quest 2. It can be very tricky learning the system and finding you're way about but the game is vast and amazing.

i love this tide turn, the best exclusive games are now coming to standalone meta headsets. that is awesome. it may not be as capable as a PC but when you can get this quality, who cares? VR needs to grow into its own market outside of owning a gaming capable PC to really be successful. This game is going to blow everyones minds.

You mention not seeing the same thing twice, which I believe is extremely important. Landmarks are building blocks for our spatial mapping, and gaming in VR only serves to amplify our brains desire to seek nodes of spatial relevance, which generally requires them to hold novel attributes. That said, application of ai within the engines will soon make this a non issue. Things are certainly moving, but hopefully we're still about thirty years out from needing to seek our reality totems.

I probably will get the game but I think I may wait till I get the Quest 3 just so it completely blows my mind. Of course the game I am play ins ITR, and Synth Ride since you showed the MR vision of it. I was like let me go ahead and get it. I love Synth music.

Hello there i bought asgards wrath 2 but for some reason when i join the game i cant get past the loading screen before crashing back to my home environment , please let me know if you have some tips or suggestions, maybe its just a bug becouse it came out today but i really hope i dint spend 60 dollars on something that dint work , Thank You!

So they don't use Quest 3 to full capability because they try to make it work on Quest2, since there 10x more people owning quest2 .... sounds like whole ps4 and ps5 thing until this year

Pretty sure the Q3 version has higher resolution. Also the Q2 had an update about 6 months ago where it unlocked 25% more power. No games that I know of used it. This one clearly does. They have squeezed every bit if power from it. The Q3 is at the start of its life and like every consoles early days, its not utilised as much as its later years. Look at early ps4 games compared to the last AAA ones.

@@Adam-mo2qw that's more or less what I said though? I come from a point of where for instance Ragnarok devs admitted they were not utilising PS5 to full extent because PS4 pro wouldn't be able to support it. So, next few years it will sort of repeat with q2 and q3, until q2 is phased out

No PCVR standalone only runs beautifully on Quest 2 and 3

While I would say the combat is "similar" to the first game.... it's just so much better. The first games runic armor system was annoying on medium, so I dropped it to easy to avoid it. This game feels like I can block and parry with much more success and it just feels way better.

Call me old-fashioned, but anyone who says there was not a single thing in the game they didn't like, lacks credibility! Asgard's Wrath 1 had medicore combat, and I got bored after about 6 hours. I'm sure AGW2 it's a better game, but when every VR RU-vidr is saying the exact same thing before launch, my spidey-senses start tingling!

@@Jrfeimst2 Is the overall article good? In my opinion Baldur's Gate 3 is the best game I have ever played. A masterpiece in my opinion. 10/10. Having said that it's not perfect. No game ever is. For example the non romantic social dialogue options in BG3 could be a lot better. 2 separate approval categories one for romance and one for friendship would be a huge upgrade in that sense. I also found BG3 in tactician mode to be too easy. I never even came close to a total party kill. All of this is to say is Wrath of Asgard 2 good or great. Even with its flaws is it a blast to play? Does it have a ton of micro transactions? Buggy as hell? I'm going to go look for that article now.

Even sex might have a few seconds here and there that isn't perfect! 😏Anyway, I'll be able to check this out for myself at no additional cost as a Quest 3 owner, and so I'll be able to see for myself. I've already heard Matteo311 making his excuses about it not being a game for everyone, and yet plugging it like a trooper. Who knows, maybe I'm too cynical in my old age. I played this and LOL I nearly broke my arm. None of this makes sense in VR. Whoever thought they could put a sword into a VR game should just think first. Just think. CAN YOU THINK? It doesnt make sense. You tried it and now thats maybe forgivable. Hello? But you then go on to do all this other shit? and ship it? Free game? I should fucking cocoa. I'll stop there but just be warned you lot
