the game looks awesome given the system it was built for ... saying wrath 2 has bad graphics is like saying breath of the wild has bad graphics because it doesn't have ray tracing..... you cant have ray tracing on the Nintendo switch...I wish there were quest 3 enhancements but without them it doesn't detract from the game....

UPDATE: As of 9 hours ago a visual enhancement improvement was announced to come to Quest 3 soon. Interesting as I really do think the review bombing of Quest 3 users did this and crunch is in effect I would think as we are approaching the holidays. I will check that but I think this could have waited as I don't think in a weeks time they could drastically improve upon textures. Also forgot to add the video that the audio in the game is super compressed. I put on my Airpods Max even then its bad. Its to make the game size smaller but I wouldn't see why they could not add it as like a premium audio DLC pack in the game. It sounds like the characters are using walkie talkies when talking. Follow up when Q3 update drops.

For this type of game, graphics are quite important tbh. It looks good for a standalone title, but doesn't compare to the PC version at all in terms of graphics quality. With an RTX 3080 I can play Asgards Wrath 1 on solid 120 fps all Epic settings, and it looks so much better.

I was worried the quest 3 version would look completely different. But both looks very similar and the Quest 2 has better battery life. More time to destroy Gods and burn calories!

The 1 star reviews are also kinda stupid… i think the oculus app should require like a certain play time to be able to review……. Because people were 1 star review bombing because they had a bug or no quest 3 upgrade….. like that doesnt make it a 1 star game? Because doing that means that they think the whole game is a 1 star because of no quest 3 enhancement? Anyways, the reason that there probably wasnt an enhancement for quest 3 is prob because this game has been in development for 4 years, since quest 1 days, and it was designed for quest 2. The quest 3 bundling was kinda last minute probably. But either way i think they could have done it. At least they will update it soon for better graphics for quest 3

Wow, it looks better on the Quest 2 than the Quest 3, if we are going by your video footage. I am really glad I bought the game for Quest 2. I really don't think it is worth buying a Quest 3 yet. I will wait for the next Quest Pro version released by Meta instead. Forking out so much money on a unnoticeable upgrade at the current time being seem like such a waste. Let the wealthiest line the pockets of Meta for now. I am good with that. Thank you for the video, friend!

Playing it on Q2 with Game Optimiser cranked resolution to 2048x2200 from its base 1600 to 2200+ it looks crazy good also locked fps to 60 game runs perfectly fine.. AC Nexus looks like JOKE compared to this game Ubi forgot about cough cough "optimizing" their game ...

Idk its a weird one for me. Why Meta would bundle a Quest 2 game with a new system is beyond me. I have a Q3 and the game screams Q2 graphically. Even the resolution looks low to me. All i can say is the game itself is really good. Minus the shitty visuals the game is really fun and i cant stop playing it. I guess that kinda says alot about the quality of the game.

I got a q3 at launch but had to return it as it was faulty. Even though I appreciated the pretty nice upgrade I realised I should've waited 6 months. I kinda want a psvr2 but I'm not buying what's turning out to be a dead peripheral. I'll get a quest 3 sometime next year. Loving Asgarths Wrath on quest 2 for now. Yes!! We finally have a game lol

Its because quest 2 has always held back vr, games looked better on quest 1 aswell, more effort was put in but because quest 2 was easy and cheap... games took the hit

You're right, personally I was really looking forward to this game, but when I saw the PS3 graphics, it made me feel sick. Textures blurry, no anti-aliasing 72fps and occasional drops. The previous version of AS1 on pcvr is over 130GB and it's stunning, and here you get something like this! I stopped playing this game and I will only come back to it when I see a package for quest 3 of at least 80GB, which will mean that at least slightly better textures will be added to the game, which is, I think, the improved version of quest 3. However, I am most looking forward to the pcvr version, which is yet to be released. will capture the full beauty of this game. Please forgive me, but the times of the PS3 are long gone and if someone sells new goggles (Quest 3) and pushes such a graphically weak product onto people, positioning it as a launch title, this can only be called fraud.

I hope for PC version, with insane graphics and audio.

This game was the nail in the coffin for me, I will be returning my quest 3. everyone raves about how amazing this game looks but all I see is ps2 graphics on a 150 inch screen, and it has a lot of lag. Its like trying to play a AAA game on a laptop with low graphics and stutters. If this is the best game/graphics that the quest 3 has to offer then its not for me.

I'm just taking a little break from playing it as I am stuck on a boss in the desert stage I kinda love this game and the graphics are very good compared to my psvr2 I say the level of graphics are psvr level but with much better clarity

I'm really saddened that Meta has abandoned the development of PCVR games, after having loved Asgard Wrath on PCVR with Quest 2 (and now I'm replaying it with Quest 3), it will be very difficult to accept the graphic downgrade due to being only stand alone. And also the fact that unlike the first chapter, AW2 is not even localized in my language (Italian)

if i had to pay for this game i would get a refund 3 mins into it so poor compared to aw1 dont bother making it on standalone unless you can port it back to quest 3 at 90hrz triple aaa game with this resolution ?
