@@RealBeastBoy007 Earthquake is a necessary physical stab for swampert and if you are saying that swampert shouldn't have earthquake then greninja shouldn't have had dark pulse instead he should have knock off or night slash

Yes, indeed. Grass Knot would be actually an instant win here. Greninja has so many great moves and since I use my standard movesets and not prepare special movesets to make the battles more fair, Grass Knot didn't make the cut.

Ash Greninja has Higher BST than Mega Swampert 640>635 but Competitive Wise,Both are really Neck in neck until Greninja has Grass Knot

Greninja would have won regardless if it had Grass Knot in it's movepool. If Greninja had Grass Knot, the Swampert team wouldn't have gotten the chance to even move

@@kanishk5490 Dude Grass Knot is one of the most commonly used moves. Yes it is not on smogon, but to counter opposing water types it's widely used. Besides quality Greninja sets run Grass Knots which is enough to wipe the entire Swampert team

Without Rain being up, it had a huge disadvantage. Could have played that better

@@RealBeastBoy007 No lol, Swampert has a better standard moveset. For Greninja to be "better" ( even tho it just has advantage in 1v1 ) it needs its hidden ability and tm grass knot. Swampert learns Earthquake ( stab physical, neutral to water and dark) and it learns Protect by lvl up to prevent Grass Moves. Also Protean got a nerf in Smogon News so im not even sure Protean Grass Knot or Grass Knot alone can One shots a Bold Swampert. It got better stats also ( like 4 to 2 ) Greninja decreased to UU so idk. I didn't try yet in Showdown if Protean Greninja one shots Bold Swampert. U want to try ? I almost Forgot, Swift Swim Swampert on rain ( 140 ) one shots Ash-Greninja ( No protean, slower with 132 speed ). Give me ur showdown id to try
