I absolutely love this new style of songwriting, which we heard a little on Kablammo and then in full force on Islands. It has a classic Ash feel and melodicism, but there's something somber and melancholy about it that enhances the emotional impact of the songs, plus there's such diverse and layered instrumentation. Can't wait for this record.

Finally got to see you live at The Forum in Oct 2023 having had 1977 as one of my favourite albums when I was a teen in the 90s. This is a great song and loved that the audience at the concert was a mixture of young moshers and those of the same age as the band.
