Damn, this is cool! Sure, the props and CGI aren't top notch, but the casting is actually pretty good. A few things: 1) Didn't Ash and Gary abandon their rivalry at the end of Indigo or Ruby and Sapphire? 2) Maybe I had to watch the anime past Diamond and Pearl, but when did Ash and Giovanni actually meet in person? I know that Giovanni being Ash's dad is a popular fan theory, but Nintendo\ Gamefreak never confirmed it, as far as I know. Regardless, when have they met in person? 3) Was Giovanni just hanging out in that random desert location the whole time on the off-chance that Ash might return? 4) So what happened during the showdown between Ash and Giovanni? Since Giovanni wanted to use a MasterBall, I'm guessing he wanted to call Mewtwo? But he never captured it in the anime continuity, even in "Mewtwo's Revenge" Giovanni simply convinced Mewtwo into a partnership, he never caught him into a pokeball. So then, Pikachu just zapped Giovanni before the MasterBall released its pokemon, and the battle was over before it started? 5) Why did Ash become the new professor when in the anime it was actually Gary who gave up on becoming a pokemon trainer in favour of this? I mean, it's possible that goals change over time, but still. And where did Gary get a letter from Oak? 6) Ash actually gave Misty a new bike at the end of Orange League.

2:00 Dramatically enters during the MIDDLE of the funeral speech Everyone: Black formal funeral clothes, appropriate for the mood Ash: BRIGHT BLUE JACKET, RED CAP, AND BRIGHT TENNIS SHOES ALL THE WAY! WOOOO (Plus a backpack because Arceus knows what'll happen since Ash just seems to be a disaster magnet) I JUST SKIPPED SLIGHTLY AHEAD AND NOW IT'S OAKS FUNERAL, ALRIGHT THEN! Brock and Daisy greet Ash politely after the funeral. Ash immediately: "DIDYA GUYS SEE ME WIN? HUH? DIDYA? CHAMPIONSHIPS, Y'KNOW!" 3:02 AGAIN, they JUST finished a FUNERAL, and then Gary and Ash just glare at each other lol Like Ash didn't even say "Sorry for your loss." 3:36 Nice to see Ash is a Toy Story Fan 👍 4:19 Heyyy Veronica Taylor painting, original Ash voice, nice! 4:32 Also I want every single thing Pokémon related which is in Ash's room, or in this film at all I love how it's all dramatic and depressing and Ash just takes like 2 seconds to appreciate this little caterpillar on a tree 5:32 6:46 : Ash: I promise to give it back someday! :) Misty: UGHH EW! **Cowboy Western face-off music starts to play** "Hello, Ash." "Giovanni!" "Ash.." "Giovanni!" "Ash." "Giovanni!" "Ash." 7:31 I KNOW ASH MEANS THE ORGANIZATION INSTEAD OF JESSIE, JAMES, AND MEOWTH BUT IMAGINE IF HE WAS TALKING ABOUT THEM INSTEAD- LIKE OAK JUST DIED AND HE'S SO SAD, BUT NOW ASH TELLS SOMEBODY ELSE WHO'S GRIEVING 7:42 "Get over it!"
