I agree for like this series should really emphasize on ash being a champion and how everyone’s expectations of him and people trying to surpass him and not just Leon should him feel like he’s under a lot of stress that’s when he’ll go back to the isle of armor to train kubfu and hopefully gmax the rest of his team.

@@ZactoshiNo doubt that there's a few Tournament Arcs on the Horizon with Season 3 and it's likely going to be the longest Season out of the Anime Series especially considering what we've got coming up this Season as there's some unfinished business that needs to be taken care of like that Rematches between Ash and Melony and Ash Vs Hop, The Crown Tundra Arc, Ash Vs Raihan which is likely going to be 2-Part Gym Battle, A Much Better Darkest Day Arc and of course The Galar League/Champion Cup Tournament Arc.😃😄😀🙂 Of course I'm wondering if you're going to do the Galarian Star Tournament and/or combine it with the Battle Tower or something else like that.🤔🤔

If only Leon were like this. They made him seem vulnerable after his run in with eternatus and yet all of that is just thrown out the window once the masters eight tournament begins I get that he probably trained a lot before then but still, it's no excuse to be sweeping champion level opponents like nothing

Not going to lie, but I really like Ash's growth throughout this season where he believes that he's undefeated because he's the Alonain Champion and thought no one could beat him. But after losing several times to Hop, tying with Marnie and having a brutal lost and scolding by Piers, this made him realize that he let everyone's expectations of him to be the Alolan champion got to his head and he became much too soft. Now with his newly evolved Urshifu and a clear mind, he can now battle to his very best, like he always does.

This was an amazing ending to Season 2 Lumoise Trainer Zac. Im looking forward to Season 3 of Sword and Shield. My favorite episode is SWSH091 because it shows Ash and Pikachu's growth trough better them self in defeating Piers and Ash got back his confidence from being defeated by Piers.

Nice episodes. Ash's Kubfu evolved into the Urshifu that's the Single Strike form! I liked both of Ash's Spikemuth Gym Battles, Gloria's Pokejob for looking for Max Honey, and that she caught the Gigantamax Venusaur, and it was great that all of Ash's Pokemon got to eat the Max Soup and not only one of his Pokemon eating it. Also like that Ash wasn't too upset about the loss like he usually would be, glad that he decided to go back and train Kubfu in the Isle of Armor, which got it evolved into Single Strike Style Urshifu since they went to the Tower of Darkness. Looking forward to how season 3 will be like!

**XY Ash Depression Arc Intensifies** Edit: Watched the episode on live and it was so gud. I like first of all how theres no team rocket in this "arc," keep the focus on ash and him needing to catch up. speaking of that, I like how hop is doing good right now, showing how far he come. I also live seeing the team eat the stew together and I love the cut clash of gmax rapid blow and gmax one blow (like pikachu vs incineroar in jounreys). I also love how ash brings back his unpredictability in piers fights (that volt switch bomb was incredibally clever is insanely cool) and I love how the team is cheering ash and the others on in the battle, that was so wholesome Bro I love this series man🔥

I think Ash gonna lose to Piers and he will go back to Isle of Armor and training with Mustard to evolve his Kubfu into Urshifu Single strike style,then Why single strike instead of Rapid Strike Style -I think Ash got the inspiration from Piers to choose the tower of darkness -Single strike style fit for Ash main strategy who often used move with high power -in the manga Hery(Victor's counterpart) already own rapid strike Urshifu

This show keeps on getting better and better. I expected an Episode 095 here being Hop/Leon related. Zoroark was ingenious. I like how Ash suffered no losts in the rematch, reminds me of Crasher Wake. Can't wait to see what Season 3 has in store. I love the pacing of this saga a lot. Massive kudos, Zac.

Like I could see Hop in a situation where he's getting 6v1 swept by Charizard, Wartortle is his last mon, there's a callback to the Dubwool evolution, and we get a symbolic Charizard vs Blastoise matchup. Obviously Hop would lose the battle but if he brings down Charizard that's still a really good feat

Once again Zac, you have outdone yourself. Very cool to make Hop defeat Piers while Ash lost. It really give Ash time to realize that he has room to grow despite being a champion. Very similar to how Ash and Sawyer were. But one question remains, who won between Ash and Mustard? Nice callback to when Ash fought Kukui in the Battle Royale just before the Masters 8 Tournament and we did not know who won.

I always felt Single Strike Urshifu pairs up better with Mustard more; as when Mustard finally gets serious & holds nothing back, that kinda aligns up more with the personality of Single Strike Style (Plus the colors somewhat match when it reveals Mustard's red ponytail and G-MAX Single Strike Urshifu becomes red-colored)

Then we get two forms of Urshifu battling each other and Dynamax like the unknown teaser of who won the battle know where that came from. Solid ending to season 2! Ash loses to piers, going back to the isle of armor to complete his training, kubfu evolves, but not sure did it win against mustard though. Ash learning that just cause he is champion there is still room for improvement. And finally ash rematches piers and wins with his new improvements. Can’t wait for season 3 and I hope ash gets a rillaboom and the crown tundra will be shown.

11:38 man, Ash’s Pikachu has the worst paralysis luck. In the main anime, Pikachu has given paralysis 3 times and only with static! When Pikachu gets its 4th paralysis (again with static) it’s when Obstagoon has guts. And people say Pikachu has plot armor… it does, but not for everything clearly.

THANK YOU! Pikachu is going strong (obviusoly), Thwackey is going downhill lately: As a grookey was the star of a gym, and had only three losses (in which two of them took down one mon before going out) andThwackey seems to be going on a meh side (hopefully as a Rillaboom it will be better), Corviknight is surprising because its obvious Zac realized it lost way too much in the beginning so he is giving it lots of 1vs1 battles to win Drednaw surprisingly doesnt seem so great lately. It was a beast late S1 Mid S2 Centiskorch needs redemption Urshifu now is obviously ace look at this win rate

3:07, Am I the only one who noticed that Gloria was blushing while watching her childhood friend Hop battling Piers (it wasn't the same for Ash though, you can check if you want (at 4:16) so I am guessing it was on purpose and not just an animation error)? Just like how Marnie was blushing while talking to Ash before their friendly match in the last part. I mean, I am not a shipper or anything but aren't those clues for their relationship in the further course of the series? Please Zac, I know I commented this really late but please give me any more clue to confirm my observation and theory.

Hey I have predicted that Gloria will catch g Max venusaur as Leon has Charizard and hop has blastoise so to complete the trio she needs to have a Starter Pokemon . I think inteleon should also can g - Max as her dream is to catch every gigantamax pokemon
