Ash is the type of guy which can perfectly fit in any horror game universe. Doom, Dead Space, Resident Evil, FEAR,

As both a fan of Resident Evil and Evil Dead, this entire video brought a smile to my face

It's amazing how Ash fits so naturalistically and groovy into the setting of Resident Evil Village

It's unreal how well ash synergizes with the village

It almost feels illegal to not have him see a shottie and say "groovy".

You know when you think about it Ash embodies all 4 houses. With House of Dimitrescu, it embodies his sex appeal and ruthlessness as a fighter. With the House of Benevito, it embodies his loneliness and slipping into insanity. With the house of Moreau, it embodies his child like antics and vulgarity. With the house of Heisenberg, it embodies his ingenuity and rebelliousness. Heisenberg would look down on his chainsaw hand as pathetic though. So they'd fight eventually.

He expressed every emotion that I did when playing RE8.

This fits so well! I'd love to see you put Ash in RE4 as well to see him name calling the villagers and knife fighting Krauser with a chainsaw

This is a perfect match in so many ways, both Ash and Ethan Winters start off in serious horror stories but eventually cross a threshold where they get multilated so much it becomes funny.

Oh my God the part where he's running away from the baby monster is PERFECT.

The Fetus Monster part was very relatable.

This- *_THIS_* -is what got me into Evil Dead, and I still owe you that one, as I'm a fan of the series, and Ash is such a likable badass.

I'm gonna be honest the whole idea of ash going through the events/story/village of RE8 is something I 100% could see as being a story for an evil dead movie/game, like it's not even a matter of him fitting into the story it straight up feels like a complete script and story for ash williams to face

It also made me realise just how many Evil Dead references are in Re7: SPOILERS FOR RE7 AND EVIL DEAD TRILOGY - Mia possessed like a deadite - Ethan striking Mia with the base of the Axe handle like in Evil Dead 1 when Scott fends off Possessed Sheryl - Mia cuts off Ethans hand (Ash does this himself) - Jack says Groovy grabbing the chainsaw - Eveline's final boss fight is a tree monster which grabs Ethan like the monster does to Ash at the end of Evil Dead 2

As someone who was born in the 90's and watched Evil Dead/Army of Darkness on VHS I appreciate the hilarity of this video. Seeing Ash again even for the memes takes me back. He had perfect reactions to the Village gameplay BTW. Nice editing.
