Raagatonic is a New Jersey based ethnic fusion band that specializes in original compositions and infusing songs with rock and jazz influences. This was Raagatonic's official debut on Sep 12 at Mexicali Live (in Teaneck NJ), an excellent live music venue.
Yeh Mera Dil from Don is the bassist's favorite song due to the sheer musicality and audacity of its bass line. Played by Tony Vaz, an unsung hero of 70's and 80's Bollywood music and RD Burman's staple bassist, the bass is the backbone of this energetic, musically intricate, and foot-tapping number.
