I hate when Beyoncé fans also claim that she's trying to be like or look like Beyoncé ...Ashanti isn't trying to be like Beyoncé...She just trying to be herself. I love Ashanti what a great personality she has. Yes I preorder #braveheart I must say it sounds amazing.
It would be nice if people went out and supported R&B music again. I have all of Ashanti's to include The Declaration. I'm tired of the crap that's out now and YES I'm tired of Beyonce. True she dominates R&B but she's not the end all to be all. Ashanti been rocking blonde hair off and on for years, and before people claim Beyonce started the whole blonde look WRONG....Mary J Blige got the blonde look rolling back in 94 and ever since then every female R&B Singer has rocked that look...to include Beyonce...but back to ASHANTI.....glad she's back....I hope she is a success and I will be purchasing the album...

Beyoncé sings pop music now, not much r&b anymore. Dangerously in love was r&b then after that was pop. Whatever the album is that she just put out is r&b and it wouldn't have sold as much as it did if she promoted it. She knew exactly what she was doing to get it to sell. Most ppl thought it was going to be another pop cd. Wrong. She knows how to keep you guys in tune. Let's not show them the baby for a whole year. Let's debut the pregnancy on the award show. She does what she have to so that she can stay relevant.
Well you're missing out, because the album is dope. And I actually applaud her for waiting until she got her stuff together before releasing an album. Something these artist forget now days, because we're in the instant microwave era. Glad she actually cares about what she gives her fans. No half a$$ crappy music, just to rush something out.
No I don't think I'm missing anything. If the album is "dope" why not put a better single than the one she picked? I like her image now bt her songs are not what they're use to be.
Ashanti, you seem ok and all, but ain't nobody gon buy that little bullcrap. In this Beyonce dominated industry, there's no place for you. Anything you do, Beyonce can do. I'm not trying to pump Beyonce up, but the proof is in the pudding. Ashanti, Mya, Brandy, Monica (yes, I said Brandy and Monica), Amerie, Ciara, Keyshia Cole, etc have all fallen completely flat. I know they used to get sick of record labels trying to market them to look like Beyonce. When Beyonce had that blondeish orange weave going on, most of them copied. I said "Look at all these fake carrot colored haired heffas following suit." Good luck, sista.
