I remember when you did ashe mid with teleport. Her passive used to give crit chance pending how long she didnt auto attack. So at lv 6 you would ult mid then tp to a minion and be the ultimate bait for the easiest kill. When u would teleport the arrow hits. The good olde days
@@Kiki-iv8lj her old passive would give crit chance that increased the longer you didn't attack. So if you waited long enough you'd get 100% crit, or near enough. You base. Fire ukt mid on enemy laner. Teleport to a minion in line with your ult shot. Enemy layer would move towards your port to take advantage of easy setup on you. Your ukt huts them as your port finishes. They are stunned for several seconds. You auto them to death with your guaranteed crits. Profit
Full atk speed Ashe with ghost is my favourite build to go. Just a recommendation, try phantom dancer into b.o.r.k. P.D. gives you suuuper high mobility to dodge, chase, and kite enemies and is relatively cheap to get. While b.o.r.k gives you the damage you need and works really well with your extreme levels of atk spd
The meta we now know for role positions was defined at the end of Season 1, but until Season 3, it still was not really universal (people still argued it and did what ever they wanted). Note, back then, the client would show you ongoing high elo games to spectate, which imho was really cool. They removed a lot of things like that, from the client, that was really good, like content creator highlights, top plays, tournament spectate, featured fan art, etc.. As the game grew, Riot started interacting less with the community and also stopped encouraging the community to interact with itself. My favorite part from back then is how people did not take themselves seriously and experimented much more. I would play full crit attack speed Nocturne and no one would say shit. People would go do 1v1 at Baron, in ranked games and everyone respected it, sometimes leading to both team going there too, to watch the fight and in some rare cases, it degenerated in multiple 1v1, elimination style (all that in ranked games). Other things that disapeared at some point: -Mixed damages, which was both magical and physical at once, checking against both MR and Defence, but not fully. -Revive, aka, trolls favourite summoner's spell. -Gold from Dragon (Dragon used to giver 300 gold to everyone one the team, but no buff). -Domination and Twisted Treeline, which while unpopular, in the next point I explain how they were insanely fun. -Custom gamelist! WHY RIOT!?!?!?!? Worst descision ever, back then, you could look at player hosted games, which led to the creation of MANY custom game mode, which were insanely fun. Twisted Treeline and the Domination map were the king of those custom modes. This feature made the game much less serious and much much more interactive, community wise. It allowed to meet groups of players and participate in ridiculous fun games, forging friendships and memories that lasted. On that, bring back the public Custom games! Having to go through third party to enjoy the joys of the past is not something most players will ever do or even figure out they could do. Bring back the other maps to go with it! Pls Riot!
Riot sold their soul to the "engagement metric" somewhere around season 4... when esports really took the LCS to the front of gaming. They came out with a few fun game modes in the following years off the hype but the numbers told them the most consistent profit (who will buy skins versus pop on for the fun events and then dissapear after it goes away) was from ladder climbers and aram. So they stopped putting effort in and then took away things instead... to lower wait times for the cash cows. Twisted Treeline was my favorite game mode and I didn't mind the long queues honestly but rito didn't get enough money from those players so... Now we just get money grab "events" that force you to grind for skin tokens on the same two modes perpetually.. with maybe a "refresh" mode on the same old map. It's so pathetic how ten cent trashed the game for profit when they bought it out. There hasn't been real innovation for atleast half a decade as far as gameplay goes.. though I really enjoyed Nexus Blitz.
Jeez that damage at the end! I made some quick calculations and you did the same amount of damage as everyone combined if you don't count Kayn and Mordekaiser. That's actually insane!
Hybrid Galio !! I've asked for the build a few times but I dont have Y'alls commitment to ask everyday. Idea is to buff the passive, which scales with level, ap, ad and mr ! while being a tank that has infinite shields. build path is frostfire gauntlet, fimblewinter, demonic, banshee's veil and spirit visage runes are Grasp or aftershock (grasp buffs your autos, which the build is centered around, while aftershock gives you a lot of tankiness while the mr buff can also fuel your passive) Shield bash, conditioning and overgrowth, secondarys would be nullifying orb and gathering storm. ap, mr, mr.
Season 1 mages usually went top and it was something like kennen vlad, bot lane was the party lane with things like garen singed. I miss that craziness.
As always, your insights regarding season 1 are the reason i keep coming back. The reasons adcs might have gone mid was because the reality of lvl vs farm carry didn't sink in. In Dota, the only thing that defines mid is usually possible 1 or 2, do you need sole lane xp and sole lane farm? In LoL, there's this wierd discrepancy that ad Champs tend to be way less reliant on lvl for base dmg, as they can just build cheap swords, and its easy to get money cause they can last hit; they also have base ad and per lvl, so they would scale without backing early. Ap champs, however, were more reliant on hitting their levels early cause base dmg only dmg.
It's a direct port from DotA like most early LoL was. ADCs go mid early on because that's where several of them went in DotA. Look at the S1 carries. Ashe -> Drow (goes mid), Trist -> Sniper (goes mid), Sivir -> Luna (goes mid), and Twitch who doesn't really have an analogue in DotA but he was also a long duration stealther, so his ganks were good. It's also kinda important to note that mid was considered the safest lane in general since jungling as a common concept wasn't exactly viewed as strong. The few characters that COULD jungle suffered pretty immensely from the very high damage enemies there; wraith camp for example hit like a goddamn truck and if you had a jungle back then both teams would get the "EXECUTED!" message if they died, and it would show in the portrait what killed them. Wraiths were usually the culprit. Wave clear was also a common issue. Most of the characters with a good deal of wave clear were the carries. Volley pierced, Trist always had explosive shot, Sivir has always been Sivir in that aspect. Most of the mid laners were put there for their ability to quickly farm waves. It just so happened that ADCs were pretty good at that. There were a lot of factors that contributed to them being put there, it wasn't just "oh god they're so squishy and need to be protected." It was genuinely strong in an era without a frequent jungler to pop up and go "SURPRISE MOTHAFUCKA."
@@Chubbies34 Yeah probably but I got the feeling that Yuumi went with Zwag to check if he was actually hacking, and then realized that he just had crazy attack speed
@@denallo4345 no he just went on him because that’s what yuumi does. Find the carry and then sit on them for the rest of the game lmao. It’s not that serious bruh
Awesome game Zwag! I'd love to see you try full burst AP twitch, with a Ludens, Shadowflame etc. As soon as you have 6 stacks on someone and you press E, you can do around 1300 damage. You can even ult over a wall and out-smite baron or dragon. Its not the best if one is behind, but I'm sure you'd be able to pull something off :)
Did I see Morde attempt to ult you and yuumi MB cleansing it around 24:50? Guess it does work during that brief window of the morde ult if the support is fast enough.
I tried some practice tool runs for attack speed, and as a baseline I got the following on these champions: Ashe (with Q): 3.74 Tristana (with Q): 4.22 Jinx (minigun, and passive from kill): 4.85 - Now I wonder how much attack speed you can get from Jinx with a Yuumi attached, running the same build (maybe 5.5 or higher)? Runes used: Lethal Tempo, Triumph, Alacrity, Cut the Grass, Absolute Focus, Gathering Storm, +10% speed, +9 adaptive, +6 armor Items used: Kraken, Runaan's, PD, Rageblade, Nashors and Rapid firecannon. I could have swapped Rapid fire for a Wit's End to get even more speed. As a side note, the highest speed I have achieved is 7.64 on Tristana during URF
Absolutely silly how far ahead Zwag is of his opponents in this one (not just on items, but in his understanding of the game). This minute or so is ridiculous: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fZVt9yQ49jA.html Takes three turrets. Scores a huge double-kill (a complete after-thought for those of us that have watched Zwag do this enough times). Joyfully predicts and then bullys Morde in his own ult, with an off-meta-build ADC for which, in any reasonable game state, that ult is a death-sentence. All that said, the actual most impressive part (and why we all keep ensuring, with our views, that this man gets PAID): Eloquently communicates his damn-near flawless processing of the entire game-state with the viewer in real time. And at the end of the sequence when the rest of us would just YOLO ourselves to death in enemy base from the adrenaline, Zwag just casually walks away from a half-dead inhib. If anybody asks who Zwag is. Or better yet why his name is ZWAG. I don't know if there's a better 90 seconds I could point to. Adding the context, "This is just Monday."
Invincible bulky AD Alistar. Lethal Tempo keystone Core items: Gore Drinker (preferred), Stridebreaker, or Sunderer for mythic Death's Dance Anathema's Chains Luxury/Situational: Wit's End, Titanic Hydra, Sterak's, Maw, Hullbreaker, Phantom Dancer. The idea is you combine your ult 75% damage reduction, along with Anathema's Chains for another 30% (total reduction: 82.5%) and the 30% reduction on Death's Dance for a total reduction without armor of 87.75% add in just 100 armor, and that cuts that further in half to 93.875% damage reduction...aka nothing with your chains on them is ever bursting you or even meaningfully hurting you for that matter.
Rageblade is technically bait on ashe. Gives a little more power up front for an early power spike, but doesnt do as much dmg per second as Kracken, PD and IE late game. Plus you lose the empowered double slow. Essentially never worth it. If you really need the early spike just go BoRK.
Try a 6 Active Items build on a tank like Rammus, Singed, Volibear, Maokai, or Sion. Predator Boots, Turbo Chemtank, Gargoyle Stoneplate, Randuin's Omen, Zhonya's Hourglass, and Redemption. Bring Ingenious Hunter too for CD on the item actives.
The question to be answered though is does the rage blade (since it takes away crit) also take away the slow effect and extra damage from slow ? I’ve been reading conflicting things on this
how ashe's passive works is her crits doesnt increase dmg but when she attacks ppl that slowed by her, those attacks deal 110% dmg (normal attack 100%, while normal crit 150%) and this scale with crit chance, with 100% crit chance, they will do as much as normal crits however if you build rage blade, it will eliminate all your crit chance which will take away your passive scale and empowered slow from crit as well
Yeah, the original meta was 2 top, 2 bot, ashe mid. That was it. Jungle didn't become a thing until much later and I even remember the LCS when it first started and people were baffled XD
hey zwag, can you please start sorting your scoreboard for roles again "tab" - where it goes top/jungle/mid/adc/support. its super helpful to pay attention to whos doing how good when watching. Thanks
Hi can you try On hit rumble and play aroung his passive? I already try it in jungle and when i was overheat with nashors it was masive.. Only to keep close distance is hard versus carry. Thanks
Zwag was exactly 23,339 damage off from out-damaging everyone in the game combined. Basically subtract the MF and Kayne and he did more than everyone else in the game. And to think way back when he used to say he didnt like playing ADC’s 😅
The way crit works on ashe is that it enhances the slow, and enemies affected by the slow take more damage from autos (scales with crit too) so you do alot of damage with crit too
@@eliasgro Crit chance still stacks, it's just converted to pure damage on slowed targets and increased slow. Now, as for IE passive...it just gives her extra crit %, so extra DMG and stronger slow.
The question to be answer though is does the rage blade (since it takes away crit) also take away the slow effect and extra damage from slow ? I’ve been reading conflicting things on this
see the easy thing about playing adc is you should be more focused on kiting and damage suppression than anything else. have fancy feet whilst always right click the cced enemy. especially with ashe
video 27 of requesting 6 shield Shen. You have to build 6 Doran's Shields before you can buy any other item. Any item you buy must be a shield or give you a shield.
