This was before my time, but I notice that everyone actually took the time and made real floats back then...What Happened?!?!?! Now everyone just writes something on poster board and slaps it on the side of a vehicle! How did the Ashe county parade actually go down hill over the year's when the town has grown so much??? I am even more disappointed in our Christmas parade now after seeing this than I already was. COME ON ASHE COUNTY, LET'S PULL TOGETHER AND FOR ONCE HAVE AN AMAZING PARADE JUST LIKE THE OLD DAY'S WHAT DO YOU SAY???
