Asheville: Farm to Table with Woody Platt (presented by Garden & Gun) 

Garden & Gun Magazine explores the charm and authenticity of Asheville through the farm to table experience.
Woody Platt of Steep Canyon Rangers is our guide as we visit the Gaining Grounds Farm and explore this small, organic farm in Leicester, NC on 70 acres of family farm land with the owners Aaron and Anne Grier.
We then turn to the relationship they have nurtured with James Beard award winning chef John Fleer and his downtown Asheville restaurant Rhubarb. This culminates in a meal and roundtable discussion at Rhubarb.
On the way we touch on Equal Plates, the Non-Profit which emerged from their relationship during the pandemic.
In this bit we see the personality and authentic voice of Asheville. A space for organizations like Rhubarb and Gaining Grounds Farm to thrive and tell their story.
