When government condemns your property and then multinational "investment" firms swoop in and offer pennies on the dollar, doesn't that amount to looting?
One could imagine entire families washed away with no one left to report them missing. This event and the “government’s” response has been one of the most heartbreaking, on par with Lahaina.

I’m in TN and many of my relatives are there in the destroyed areas. The thing that boggles my mind is several of my “under-informed” 🧠washed X’tian Zyø cousins there still support sending more $$$ to IZRL after the hurricane damage. So I said… “Ok, then don’t ask me or family here in West TN to come help you. Go ask Nutty’yahoo when he comes back here demanding more of our taxpayer dollars from Congress. Buh bye.” Sometimes you gotta let Karma do its thing with people like my cousins there.

We wouldn't have to pay taxes if people were generous enough to give alms. There is a God, whether people understand that or not. And we should give what we can, when we can, to help the poor and afflicted. It is our civil duty to invest into our community. I'm glad you're mentioning this. I tried to warn about babies and pets breathing that mess on my channel. I'm a small creator. I stayed in my mom's moldy apartment a few years back as we were trying to get her out. I've had problems ever since.
I'm in Asheville. The water system is still in shambles, but restaurants are starting to open up. We need more visitors here to get our economy going again.

Where I live in San Bernardino there are only a couple ways out of here but they've been working on the freeway so that those ways out will become killing fields instead. The freeways have been designed to completely stop traffic if 1 car breaks down. There is no pushing it to the shoulder of the road because there is no shoulder. The 7 Oaks Dam is designed to break and then a wall of water filled with boulders will level everything. The California Aquaduct is designed to break and every reservoir is purposely kept nearly empty. The police and Fire Dept knows full well what the plan is.

I remember that after Katrina FEMA was, shooting people's dogs and daughters, blowing up communication towers, shooting generators and confiscating guns.
Yep...and there was videos of them using explosives to blow the dams to flood certain areas. There has been accusations in this event that one area with higher incomes/nicer homes was saved and a couple of other areas were sacrificed for them and that was on "the news".
I was in Louisiana when it happened. After the hurricane N.O. cops asked a 90 year old woman in her home if she had a weapon for protection. When she showed them her old gun, they tackled and battered her. 💜💚💛
@@jillgarrison1917I saw that video back then. So so sad. My house a mile from the Mississippi Coast Got flooded with 6 ft of water. Friends and family in the Bay St Louis area where the eye came through's houses were washed away from the 20 ft water surge. 😔😔

I live in north asheville, a wealthier neighborhood here, there are still homes with trees laying on them, and power lines laying across roads, so that should give an indication of how bad it is here. It will take years to clean up not just western NC and surrounding areas, but areas in other states as well. I've been here since 1994, it's going to be interesting to see how the area recovers, if at all
I got back from Swananoah last week. Seeing it on the news does not prepare one for being there on ground. Western NC is a 3rd world country right now.

Its worse than the news portrays, i live on outskirts of Asheville, the little towns got it worse, mostly volunteers doing the work, 10 days before we saw FEMA, our home was under water n within 2-3days they were tryin to bulldoze them before we could even retrieve any stuff, pretty much had to stand guard with neighbors daily to keep them from destroying our homes while we tried to pull some items, clothes n tools out of the mud, Neighbor works with sewer district, been finding dozens of bodies doing repais, knows of at least 3 tractor trailers full of body bags, though most of em only contain a body part per bag, n the official word is that if they cant identify the next or cin or no one to claim the body, it wont be counted towards the body count

I live on the other side of the mountains in East Tennessee. There are so many roads around Asheville closed. Interstate 40 is supposed to be open halfway from Tennessee the border of North Carolina some time next year, and the other half isn't supposed to be done until 2028. If Harris wins, it will probably be longer.
The US can easily provide billions to Ukraine unapologetically. It’s incredible to attempt to understand. For a second I thought this was a majority black town like when the Levi’s broke in Louisiana. Somehow this town will become essential once its most natural resources is mined and processed.
