William comes up like a very insecure, misogynistic little man. All those muscles are just a coverup for how small he is inside. Ashley previously married a very controlling & abusive man when she was young and sadly she’s replaying those same patterns. His family is clearly just jealous & pressed; everything they said just sounded like jealousy. She’s a FITNESS influencer, naturally she will show her body, but there’s nothing inherently wrong or dirty about a woman’s body. If he’s that threatened, then he needs to deal with his insecurity because he knew what her job was when he meant her. He thinks she is “his woman” and has to do what he says, and wants some old 1940’s era relationship, but that’s not relevant anymore. If he wants some relationship where everything goes his way and the woman cooks and cleans and dresses up the neck, then go find that. But don’t try to change her when you know who she was when you met her. And he was trying to come at Derek, but Derek has been dealing with angry little homophobes like William his whole life. He was not bothered at all. If I was Ashley I would move on. That bulked-up muscle-rat is not what she needs.

Derek is not wrong. Just because he's young it doesn't mean that he is not intelligent. Just because he's telling the truth un-filtered they using his youth, saying brat, not raised like that etc. Derek is right and he doesn't like the groom controlling 1970s behaviour to this young girl who wants to show all herself on the internet etc. The groom is borderline holds anger and it will burst out and destroy their marriage if they get married. Derek had the most sense. He identified the red flags, it's so frustrating to see everyone turn against him just because he didn't want to shake that man's hand. It felt like the fiance was using that as a way to deflect from all the other valid red flags that Derek brought up - signs of him being controlling, him yelling, and so on. And for the fiance, he met her as an influencer, but now he wants her to stop? Like why did you even approach her if that is not what you want in a partner...His family is full of judgemental Bettys who come across as insecure, jealous pick me's. A very disturbing dynamic, I hope Ashley sees the light and is able to run away as fast as she can.

The brother didn’t call Will germy. He was saying in general he prefers not to shake hands because of germs. He offered a dap and explained he why he didn’t want to shake hands. William chose to make it about disrespect when it was really a boundary. @@KrysBrown89actually he only HELD his cousins hand. The grooms sister was on Derrick’s other side and you can see that she only has her fingers kind of sitting on top of his hand, not a full hold. I’m guessing as a compromise to holding just as Derrick offered a dap as a compromise to a full fledged hand shake. Will just wanted to control the interaction and when he couldn’t he tried to control the narrative and when that didn’t work and Derrick refused to bow down, Will lashed out with the homophobic insults. Then will got mad again when he couldn’t control whether Derrick accepted his apology or not.

It is also "biblical" to stay married, that did not happen for her. And technically no one has spoken to all the values he so called has but THEY LIVE TOGETHER and ARE INTIMATE just 4 months after her divorce and I am willing to bet they were intimate before that move in and her divorce being finalized which means broken vows and coveting for the both of them.
