Unpopular Opinion: Wendy was kind of right about the snake shit going down. Sorry that she doesn't resonate well with the audience but it is what it is. And by the way, full disclosure, I do take more of Karen's perspective on all of this in that they were both very wrong in how they conducted themselves. As others have mentioned, it would have been cleaner if Ashley had just written a supportive character assessment of Monique; Ashley knew what she was doing.

Let’s set this straight! What Monique did was 100000% wrong, however! For Candiace to say “for a person who can’t handle my mouth”, Gurl….. Karen has told you at Wendy’s event about your mouth! and the other ladies that went you get set off you can’t SHUT THE FUCK UP! and I’m not saying that she’s the only one doing that. Still, Candiace was literally poking the bear last year when she said, “drag me, Monique,” and for their friendship to go spiral like that, what did Candiace expect? I get that she got traumatised for what had happened to her, but the gurl needs to think about the trash mouth of hers since it’s happening again with Mia and Ashley in the current season. Candiace is the victim of what happened, but you cannot turn or convince Karen to pick your side. The therapist really needs to tell her off.

I understand that Candice's pride led her to file the case against Monique because she felt humiliated in front of the whole world, but she's acting like a victim and she's not. Sending a mother to jail because she laid her hands on you after you begged her to do so says a lot about Candice's morals. Ashley did nothing wrong. Whether she was there or not. Monique asked her because she trusts that she'll help her unlike the rest of them.
