Best known as one of Australia's most in-demand drummers, Ash Davies is also a multi instrumentalist, composer and arranger of high renown. He joined me for this chat about his 2022 project release Gold which presented instrumental pieces inspired by ten paintings crafted by his uncle. Collectively, they narrate the fabled journey of Lasseter's pursuit to discover a vast gold reef in the Australian Outback.
