From a hairdresser..velcro are no good for long hair. Taking them out by twisting..forget it. Hot rollers maybe. Curling wand, sock curls but def not velcros

When you take out Velcro rollers, unwind them and slide the same way you put them in. Don’t pull them out of your hair and don’t ever twist them.
