I appreciate you so very much! I simply enjoy your reviews. I first discovered you via Love is Blind reviews. I've been hooked ever since. I'm looking forward to watching this series. Thank youuu!
@@TaitsTake Awww, it's my pleasure to watch! Because of you, I also enjoyed the We Are The World doc. I'm wishing you continued success. We love supporting you!
I'm your fan from Germany, got to know you through if love is blind, but I just finished watching Ashley Madison then came looking for you! I'm glad you do more than just love is blind circle@TaitsTake
This could have been me saying/writing this comment. I got crazy excited when I found you after missing you so much when LIB ended. I am still and forever your crazy old lady.
Another suggestion here to interview Ultimatum South Africa. It was so wild compared to the US versions. I literally said "Oh my golly wolly" at least 3 times per episode.
I don't think there was a lot of cheating going on statistically speaking.. Just guys sending messages to women hoping maybe to hook up. Most women never answered their messages. It was a total scam.
@@lpr5269 The intent was still there, but you’re right. The site was like 99% men and 1% female staff and bots, but obviously something is going on cuz it still exists today, and the site has 37 million users, so someone is getting something.
And it's funny that anyone would expect honesty and integrity from a company who would seek to profit from being a tool to help destroy families is comical to me. It's like being surprised a drug dealer would short you or steal from you. Really? It's a dirty business, and if you get involved in it, then you should be ready to deal with the consequences.
I’m also here to say please review the Ultimatum South Africa 😂 literally looked for your email address yesterday to ask you to please review it. It is wild 😝
The young wife who stayed with her husband… I could not. His cheating went far beyond Ashley Madison. He could have really gotten her sick with an STI. I could not stay with someone who was that selfish. That little bit of time they were separated he had to cook his own food and wash his own clothes so he came crying 😭 back to her. People can change and I hope he did for the better. But if it was me, he can change and grow over there 😂 not over here with me. But that’s just me.
I think judging is not used in the right context these days. Judgment is saying someone deserves misfortune for a mistake. Simply stating an action is wrong, such as taking vows to be faithful andbreaking that vow, is not judgment. It's stating facts and truth. I find that because people don't want to be called out or deal with the negative emotions they feel, they resort to saying someone is judging them.
Your channel is now my official notification of what to watch haha. I also thought the cyber info was a great addition to the doc and they did a good job of showcasing clients to help prevent an overly simplistic view of those would use a site like that. Thanks for emphasizing the moral high ground aspect. Thanks for this review!
What is going on? Michelle's take. We need a Love Revolution! Our deepest fundamental need is for healthy attachment - bonding, connection, love, care, appreciation, trust, support, belonging, feeling valued... Most of us did not GET this as children so we do not have it to GIVE as adults. It's a deep wound that needs healing but we keep finding ways to experience temporary relief by seeking validation and fulfillment out there. We still want to GET but LOVE is about GIVING. We need to learn how to have relationships, for real.
Thanks, Chris - great review! Intriguing as well as informative. I'll watch for the Netflix presentation now, because of you; I'd have ignored it otherwise. So, I hope Netflix rewards you handsomely! Bless up, and mahalo from Kauai!
Tait’s Take PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASEEEEEEE REVIEW THE ULTIMATUM SOUTH AFRICA…. I’m a hugeeee fan of yours and your review for this is a MUST! Thank you in advance… Again, a must!
Looking forward to watching this. I saw the other one on Hulu last year. I remember when the head guy used to appear on Howard Stern. They used to sponsor a lot of stuff. I will not confirm or deny knowing people who used the website . . . 😬
I love your takes! Thanks for doing this documentary series. Can’t rly feel pity for these people who chose to cheat with little considerations for their partners and justifying their actions with lame excuses
My first reaction is to say this is an example of karma, however, I do think the bigger question of why was there SO many users needs to be looked at. Perhaps we, as a society, need to reconsider what an “acceptable” or “ideal” relationship is, and that it isn’t going to be the same for everyone. If there was less stigma around open relationships, for example, maybe there would be less need for a website like this?
@@TaitsTake I would bet both of my lungs that less than 10% of those millions of people are/were in an open relationship. Most people would rather lie through their teeth than be honest and live with the consequences. I'll be judgy af with those kind of people.
Lol the most insane aspect was the shady things they did with not deleting profiles and having bots increase interactions amongst men. It makes me wonder how this translates to other dating apps and sites. If so, I feel like that’s a class action lawsuit because the increased interactions with fake profiles that end up nowhere definitely contribute to dating fatigue amongst all of us!!
AM is a total ripoff, too many bots, scammers and extortionists, lengthy online contract is designed to rip you off, especially if you delete your account and with reoccurring automatic charges
Yo tell me why my bf (who cheated several times) at the time this got hacked I said to him “I’d leave you” then literally found out he was on it. And Grindr. And I stayed for 3 years 😩😭
@@Carolinefdqhe was my first boyfriend and I honestly was so naive, I was too old to be that naive. I had also just lost my dad and I didn’t want to lose anyone else in my life and I was only 17 😅 I should’ve left asap
Ok I'm annoyed, I'm a subcriber for a while and just happened to check why you're not posting. I didn't have your last 3 videos pop up in my feed although I have notifications on 🤬 Anyways great video as usual, I didn't feel like watching this mess but you make it bareable 😅🙌🏼
I watched the Hulu doc. The most devastating thing I remember was that a pastor was on the site, never cheated, but when he found out about the hack took his life. His family was devastated including his wife who would have been willing to stand by him regardless. I don’t condone cheating but as a Christian that hit hard and makes you think about the grace that we all need. 😢🙏🏾
I know I'm 4 months late but I might have an idea for why so many people go on Ashley Madison, even to this day. Now, I don't know the age demographic of the users on Ashley Madison but if they're on the older side, then I can infer that maybe the people on there grew up thinking they needed to get married to someone as quickly as they can to please the people around them. Then, once they're married, they realize that marriage (either in general or with the specific person they married) isn't what they wanted. But since divorce is heavily frowned upon amongst the older generations and is expensive and time consuming, they decide to get some sort of 'relief' from marriage (cheating being one of those reliefs). If the age demographic of people on Ashley Madison happen to be on the younger side, then I wouldn't be surprised if this was also the case for them as well, but just on a lighter scale. Idk tho, just my two cents
I heard of the story but I haven’t watched either documentary. You made me want to watch the Netflix one 🤣 I cracked up at the part where the church exposed its members 😂😂
The shocker is that the site is still up and running and still has many millions of subscribers. So people don’t care about being hacked again exposed? That’s strange. But it’s more than just having a conversation with your partner about what you want. sometimes the sex just dries up in a marriage so the conversation would be more like I wanna sleep with someone else you cool with that? Lol.
Spoiler alert 🚨 Tait you said “ How much you wanna bet that there was a husband and wife that - were both on the site “ but there was a couple like that shown in the documentary an interracial couple. The only black woken shown- the one time you don’t want representation 😂😂😂😂
