When she sang the one she wrote it brought back all the young years of my life with a man that i call my father. He raised me and my 2 siblings from the age of 4. I was 4 and hes the only father i ever knew. What a wonderful song and i cried so much. I love you little girl for that tribute to your father. Most beautiful words ever spoken!!❤❤❤❤😇

I think she has a great voice & thought the first two tries were not bad, but when she came back with a song she had written WOW! very rarely does a song move me to tears, but what a tribute to her Dad, & she's only 12 this little girl should have some career in the music business

StepMom didn’t look too thrilled. Any who, Ashley was so brilliant that her performance brought tears to my eyes as it reminded me of my Daddy, Melvin, who is in Heaven. Miss him every single day. The good news is that he, I, and my Momma will be together again one day. God is good, all of the time.❤

Ashley Marina had an ace up her sleeve with a spectacular original father's day song. She didn't sing the entire studio version of her original song which she put on RU-vid when she was 11 as "You'll Always be my hero" (Original song by 11-year-old Ashley Marina).

Ashley Marina was very clever with her first two cover song choices. She maneuvered Simon Cowell into asking for a guy song and then sang an epic Father's day anthem.

I think Simon was correct when he told her she had the wrong song twice. The song that she needed to sing was the one that was gonna move people instead of moving them. She mowed them over, she was so good. I'm gonna give simon a thumbs up because he's nine eleven ten times right Again what a beautiful job that young lady did. I watched it on TV and it actually brought tears to my eyes.
