I don’t make comments on videos but Ashley oh honey you have me crying in my coffee Thank you for such a brutally true soul touching song that hits home. Music heals !!
I hope you record, release and get a Grammy for this masterpiece. This touched my heart. The trauma is evident and I can relate, especially to trauma caused by those who represent the church. PEOPLE NEED TO HEAR THIS! I really had to learn that religion is corruptible as it is controlled by imperfect humans. If you put your faith or trust in people they will fail you. Your faith is a personal walk with God. You can talk to and worship God anytime. Jesus paid our ransom and among other things, his sacrifice allowed us to go directly to the Father with our needs. I guarantee you'll help more people get closer to God than your bio dad ever did.
What a fucking song Ashley. This is an unbelievably intelligent piece of true art. It’s so touching and so beautiful. Seriously you’re a gem that is writing an another level. However you’re doing it, it just speaks to me. I can imagine so many people feel seen through your art. So happy for you to be able to express this with dignity and such reach
Wow!!! That speaks volumes! We never know what someone is going through, so, be kind! 😢❤❤❤ Love this song!!! Ashley McBryde, you are one of my favorite female artists!!! ❤❤❤
That sounds like I don’t know it’s my fav singer Ashley Mcbryde who grabbed my heart at Girl Going Nowhere video from London and has captured and recaptured it since. So awesome to see Garth inviting her to be Opry member today!!!!! I will keep following and you will keep singing and capturing my heart!!!
Beautiful. Brings tears to my eyes every single time. But proud that I have always refused to lie to myself. Those are the lies that do the most damage...😢
Great song....deep!!I always look for anything new by her....always better & better... this is my favorite & the next...no this is my favorite ....Keep up the awesome songs....Make us feel them not just hear them!!!!
In my minds eye I see you,,,, Strawberry Wine country, some Joan Baez, Jesse Colter, but really a toned down Janis Joplin singing all the blues u wanna sing. Stapleton has done fantastic with his own brand of country, rock blues. A Janis flavor with "originals, good ones, and hitting those high notes, I'm thinking you could make F you money and some well desered super stardom. Call me a dreamer. U got a lot of natural talent. I'd like to live to see u hit the ceiling and go right through it.
