She's already pushing my physically disabled nineteen-year-old sister to move out with her boyfriend who is several years older than her that she hasn't even been with for a year. That's a recipe for her to turn out just like me... And I'm so scared for her. If I hadn't had to move a thousand miles away after leaving my abuser I would immediately put her on my lease and move her in with me. Both of them. Idc if they don't have a job at the time, as long as they can get on food stamps and buy food for themselves. I can provide everything else they need. The way that our parents should. (Although parents wouldn't make them pay for food if I'm the only one paying for rent and stuff and all the other essentials they need to get their own food) Eta: my abuser was five years older than me and I got with him when I was eighteen and had zero knowledge of the outside world because I wasn't allowed to date in high school or have friends or get a job. It was as though I grew up in a very restrictive cult... i lived with him even before dating
@@Unnecessary_Potato I'm so sorry. And I feel with you. It's hard to be worried and so far away. I didn't want to excuse your mother's behaviour if that came across like that. For me it just helped me to find more peace with the thought that my mother is not able to behave differently or love me the way I would need it. I think it helped me get rid of the constant why-can't-you and hoping for something to change. I hope you are in a better place now and it will all turn out well for your sister.
@@saazoo things are looking up My mom has a lot of mental health issues that she refuses to get help for and it's not my place to worry about her getting better. My favorite part of right now is that I already know she doesn't like the guy I'm talking to XD

I lost my grandmother to DV, I've unfortunately fell for the same tricks and fortunately I got out, my bio mother spent 20 years giving nothing but trauma I'm only in my mid 20s but im a mother of 2, a mom of 3 and I will claim you as my own too if you need a better mom. Everyone deserves to have a mother that wouldve built the world for them child.
@@Unnecessary_Potato My mom passed back in 2013 when i was almost 16 and her being 3 weeks shy of her 53rd birthday and i wouldnt doubt that she wouldve been protective of me like this when i was in 2 DV relationships. Im 25 going on 26 in November and if ya need a sister/mama bear protector ill do it

My mama used to sing this and I listen to it cuz my dad and mom left one night and mom had to leave even tho she did nothing wrong and all that I could hear is this song while crying at the door cuz she left I haven't seen her is almost 5 months but I do call her I just wish she could come be cuz my dad would call the cops if she did step foot on the property but she did nothing wrong to leave the cops got called twice I miss her every time I hear her voice I cry 😭

I have 4 kids (3 boys, 1 girl) my daughter is only 3 but she is nonverbal autistic so this song is definitely my song for her. I'm very protective of all my kids, I would do anything to protect them. My older 2 kids have been through hell and back because of my ex (their bio dad) definitely don't mess with a mama bear when it comes to their babies.
There's no greater honor and privilege than being a mother. And as a mother i can say without a doubt there are no limits to what I'd do to protect my child. If anyone ever hurts my child it would be the last thing they ever 0do.
