Ashley Tisdale revealed to Access Live's Natalie Morales and Kit Hoover that the outpouring of love, support and understanding after she released her song "Voices In My Head" has been overwhelming. The song, which talks about her battle with anxiety and depression, has been particularly meaningful to many fans and she said she is just overcome with emotion knowing that so many fans loved the message.

Idk, I watched a show about family ancestory and Hillary Duff was on it, and she was really rude and ditsy.. I guess, it was nothing mainstream, but she wasn't very nice. I'd say, Christi Carlson Romano from Even Stevens lol.

A lot of people making comments about the people in the back waving and smiling while she talks about depression... I want to offer up this little perspective: often times when filming the people talking are mic’d so that the CAMERA and people watching on tv can hear it clearly. However, if you’re actually there you wouldn’t be able to hear the conversation because they’re probably talking in a casual conversation voice. My educated guess is the audience has no idea what they are talking about and therefore all they know is that the camera is pointing at them and they’re live on the air!

They’re probably also excited about the moment too, probably a lot of tourist who think it’s a cool experience and are out there having fun. I’ve never been on tv so I’d probably be pretty stoked too haha 😂

I think Ashley is great. It's crazy how she speaks about anxiety and depression so calmly. While anxiety and depression are two very scary topics for so many of us, she remained relaxed and actually quite warm. The nature in her tone conveys such a powerful message to those, including myself, who are terrified of depression. At the end of her interview, everything she said hit me at once and I instantly got it. I'm at peace with my depression. It's still there but the burden of keeping it a secret is finally lifted. Thank you Ashley!

Yeah, the way she talks is so unapologetically vulnerable. Like, she looks nervous/anxious, but she talks so smooth without stutters, like she's already strong enough to handle the emotions and thoughts in her head to finally share to others

CLØWN BRUCE - No, they aren’t, actually. They’re much farther away than they look. Television cameras foreshorten distance. Kind of like sporting events. I even see some straining to hear her. Sadly, some people don’t care anyway. If I was in that situation, I would read visual cues and be focused on the guest. 💯❤️

I woud recommend that you google a national hot line for people with depression and anxiety because they definitely will know what advice to give you and where to seek help in your area. There was a song by Logic(the rapper) and one of his songs names is actually one of those phone numbers, you could find that song on youtube and call that number. It's good to talk to friends and family but not everybody has that and even if they do it's still good do talk to a professional who knows how to make things better and can maybe suggest a suport group, coz a lot of people go though this. Plus meditating usually helps too. You can watch videos by ekhart tolle, oprah, iyanla vanzant, deepak chopra, and there's an app called headspace. That combined with a professional advice could be a good help. There are a lot of people out there who go through what you're going through, who understand and who know how to help you out. You can do it out!

You're a brave woman not everyone in that industry who has depression do things that will help people who's going through the same situation. I too, struggled with major depression since I was a kid and I am now 30 and I remember to self harmed myself and almost killed myself too for how many times. It's not easy coz not everyone who's going through the same situation has always someone to help them and that happened to me. I am so grateful and thankful to God that when I was in the end of the rope and just wanna give up his promises strengthens me. His Word is what's keeping me alive. Whoever reading this comment and going through the same situation don't give up! God loves you so much that while we were still sinners he died for you and me. He can help you if you just let Him God bless!😊

When the song came out, i was like "thank you for making a song about how i and a lot of other feel!" and i still feel the same way. A lot of us has been going through similar stuff for a long time, so i cant wait to hear her full album! I know it will help with all these voices in my head.
